My story with *Lease Finance Group llc *(LFG) I bought a store in 2013 I had a rep from LFG come to my store and give her sales pitch to me and another person at my store. I told I would think about it.
A few days went by and here she comes I tell her I'm still thinking about it, well she came another 3 or 4 times a day and finally I gave in. I singed contract with a company called Trans Tech. She explained the process either do a lease on credit card equipment or just a % she explained thats how they make their money either off the equipment or the processing I picked the processing. My application even shows no new lease. Well this company was charging way to much and I cancelled my service.
When I did I stopped paying them by changing bank accounts and got another processing company.And then the phone calls I settled to pay them $990.00 which I did got a email saying we were under no futher obligations and my account was closed in good standing.
Now a month maybe longer went by I got a call from LFG stating I owed them somewhere around $2600, I told them I paid this account off,they told me no we are not the processing company Trans Tech we lease the equipment for Trans Tech I said thats funny I was under no Lease and they said yes I was for 60 months, you read that right 60 months I laughed at the person looked through my whole application couldnt find lease on my application where the Equipment set up/order form has m compant info but when you look down at Equipment/Purchase Type there are 4 spaces ACH, Check,New Lease,or other nothing was checked NO LEASE.
One day a month or so doing inventory a paper work my Book keeper came across this charge I was getting from thism LFG I said I don't now it started when the credit card processing started I thought it was part of some charge. Well she didn't she called the number from the Bank and they said yes your company has a 60 month lease3 with us and your past due,she asked for a copy of lease they didn't want to send us they said they would send it by mail but mu book keeper said no you wanted it emailed so they did.
Now the email came she looked at it called me to the computer and said look I said a what your signature it is not mine so not mine. Looked through other application same thing same fake or forged signature's of mine.I called the company told them they laughed about it .I made all the complaints to the right authorities.
Well about 2 weeks ago I get this call from this guy from the legal department at LFG and he said I owed the $2000 and I could pay with any one of my credit cards he named each one i have, I asked him how would he know these things didn't tell me. Later I checked my credit reports I had 4 hard oulls from them and a charge off of $1600 and change.
I called Experian the man I spoke with was very good he said they say they are different companys I said yes then he said well then someone in thier company committed identity theft on you. So thats where I'm at now. And if they try to sue me I'm going to New York or where ever the Hearing will be and they will pay for all of it and more. Monday I'm starting my own law suit on them for $1,000,000 I was in the process of buying a home and this company which I told Experian shouldn't be able to place any bad or good marks of peoples credit. I asked well when you guys investigate a company so guys can't see all of the Attorney General's sueing them. They said no they don't investigate the actual company just the paper work. Thats B.S Everyone out there who has been a victim of LFG or one of the other names they use, dont sit idle stand up fight there are things we all can do together. OVERITDONE
