I was sued last year by Howard Lee Schiff, P.C. for an old Discover credit card bill the bill already passed the status of limitation, but they still took me to court for it. When I went to court they told me to make a monthly payment to them. I made several monthly payment to them already. but I am feeling very unconfortable with their practice, and how they used the court system in Connecticut to sue consumers for old credit card bills.
I am reporting them because I dont think they should have the right to do this to people. They are repping off people and no one is able to stop them. When I call them they are always so rude and unpleasant on the phone. I need help to collect enough signatured to file a law suit against them. They need to stop rippinoff people.
I too have been duped and sued what we need to do is get a forum of as many people who have been ripped off by them. I have done much research on the firm and found crooked lawyers work for them plus the fact they hide behind a deceased man's name Howard passed in 2007 the firm filed over 8000 small claims cases and won mostly due to the fact people were afraid to show up. They are repeat offenders with the Federal Trade Commission and so much more.
