In 2018, Brian Morken set up a nice booth at "2018 Kids, Family & Home Expo!" at the Savage Sport Center in Savage, Minnesota. An event organized and managed by the Savage Chamber of Commerce.
Brian sold us (2) packages at Wisconsin Dells while he knew that his business was going under. Despite that Wyndham Corporation stepped up to honor his agreements, ours was not included since he didn't report it. We paid in cash since his "online" system was not working.
I went to the MN Home and Garden Show- Booked a mini vacation with LMV, INC - after paying at the show and signing a contract we were supposed to email about our vacation dates for booking. At this time we got a response stating Lake Michigan Vacation, INC had gone out of business and Wyndham resorts would take care of the vacation. We contacted Wyndham and they knew NOTHING about this- LMV basically charged us a fake package- took the money and ran.
This has been reported to the company who ran the home show at the MPLS Convention center. They said I was not alone and that they have been recieving hunderds of calls from people they had defrauded. I was one of the lucky ones who wasnt scammed out of THOUSANDS for a time share. Mine was only a small mini weekend vaca and was only out a couple hundred dollars verses people who put downpayments on time shares. They did put together a high powered lawyer team from NYC to go after LMV and even those lawyers came up ghosted with nobody responding or to pay for the damages that were created.
