Kirko Bangz aka Kirk Randal and his manager David Williams aka D.Will from LMG Music Group cancelled on a show that Miami Live had booked with them with a 2 hour notice. Our club was already staffed and ready to go, only to get a call from David Williams letting us know that he will not be coming because they "booked the flights for the wrong day". When looking at Kirko Bangz' social media, he was busy with other activities and clearly had no intention of coming and doing the show as agreed to by contract.
We had to refund all of the tickets and revenue from the show which lost us over $5,000. There were people already showing up that were obviously very upset that the show was cancelled with no notice. We have had dozens of phone calls and emails from upset customers. Kirko Bangz and his manager David Williams have not refunded the deposit and it has been over 20 days since the show. David Williams first said it would take 5 days to refund the deposit which is too long to return a deposit for a cancelled show but we had no choice but to wait. That Friday came and went and still no deposit back. David Williams then said he would send it on Monday and of course, still no deposit back on Monday. He then said he would send it back that following Friday. Of course, no deposit was received. He then said he would have it the following Monday. That Monday has passed and we still have no deposit and can clearly see that they have no intention of refunding the deposit for a show they cancelled with 2 hour notice.
We do not recommend any clubs or promoters book Kirko Bangz for any shows or events after this experience.
