This is by far the most unscrupulous scam artist operation I've ever witnessed. I went in to this shop to purchase a better car audio system. They told me I needed a new "head unit', new speakers, new wires and installation would take approx. 2 hours. Eight hours later, My car was blocked in by one of the owners vehicles and when I went inside He told me I owed $560.00 no tax.
He said he gave a me a great deal on new equipment and guaranteed It was an awesome setup. it was very late, I was last customer there and I had no choice but to pay seeing he had my keys and I was blocked in. As soon as I turned stereo on, I knew something was seriously wrong. I also noticed a huge rip in my back leather seat.
When i tried to get inside the door was locked and he came out from side got into his truck and took off. I found out the next day he had installed used audio equipment that was basically junk worth maybe $40, also all my stereo equipement that had been in car was missing. I went back to him only this time he couldn't understand or speak english, and his interpreter ws telling me I was wrong. That they left my stuff in the trunk, they didn't rip my seat and if I didn't like stereo he put in, I could purchase a better one from him.
His installers outside are all indepedant contractors with no experience or licenses and steal equipment from customers all the time. I've spoken with 4 other people he'd done this too. I do not understand how he is still in buisness, when he is buying stolen merchadise from back door, selling used equipment in difffernt manufactors boxes. This is an outrage. How can a company lie, cheat, steal, destroy, and overcharge you for it?
