My advertisement was running in the Las Vegas Craigslist section homes for rent. Lamar called me from Chicago, at the time it was his intention to make a life change and move to Las Vegas. Lamar wanted me to hold the townhouse and not rent it out until he travelled to Las Vegas. I told him if I found a prospective tenant prior to his arrival to Las Vegas, that I would rent it out. He offered me $300 to hold the unit until he arrived in Las Vegas to view the rental. He sent me $252 on July 30th via CashApp then another $52 on August 5th 2019. Through looking at my website he wanted to be coached for flipping real estate, here in Las Vegas. I told him that my coaching fee is $7,800 and that I require $3,900 in advance. Lamar came to Las Vegas, I picked him up from the Circus Circus and we drove to the townhome I owned on Los Feliz. He felt that the townhome would no work for him and I dropped him back to his hotel. He sent me $1875 on 8/8/2019 and an additional $1875 on 9/2/2019. I spent more than ten hours on coaching calls with him on the phone. Many time he was unavailable. One time he was jailed for two weeks he apparently was arrested for Domestic Violence. He ended up not moving to Las Vegas. We switched the plan up for him to look at properties in the Chicago area. He walked one property and essentially flaked out. I contacted him several times to no avail. He never indicated that he was unhappy or ask for his money back. So I see this post and I go "wow".
