Joes Auto and Muffler does very bad work, treats customers like trash, and lies to everyone. They got me once, but never again. I wish I had researched all the reviews before going there. Oh well- maybe this will help everyone else to stay away from Joes Auto and Muffler in Swainsboro. Ga.
It took them a week the first time. They called and said it was fixed and ready to pick up. I paid for the bill of $663.93 over the phone with my credit card since it would be very late before getting back to town. I was quoted $450 for the entire bill including parts, labor, and tax to begin with. I asked over the phone why was it so much more and she gave me some crazy excuses.
I was just glad to finally get my truck back. Picked it up that night and would smell gas when driving. Ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere late at night. Had to walk several miles to get help. Joe's already took my money so it took them 2 days to even come look at the problem. They left the gas hose off and the gas all leaked out! I have so many pictures of all the damages and problems they made.
They had my truck for a total of 3 weeks and messed up my gas tank and broke several items. They wired the fuel gauge to show over full all the time. I can write a book about this evil and scamming shop! This is just the
beginning............................I asked for a refund from Joan the first time and she said she will call me back in 2 hours and never did.
I asked Justin for a refund the next day and he texted me no. This place is very ugly to their customers! They told me my truck was ready on a Friday so I went and got it. Took it home and saw so many problems. They would not answer the phone at all. I wrote a formal letter to Joe asking for a full refund and still no answer, so I am deciding about my next course of action. I sure hope the saying- what goes aound comes around- is true!
What goes around comes around.....Justin is the guy that cheated me and so many others. I just found out that he is a convicted felon from a few years ago. He just got out of jail for armed robbery with a gun!!!!!!!!!! How can a convicted felon get a bail when he does another felony with a gun? Well, he did do some snitching on his friends and customers.
