This merchant is deceitful and will try to charm you and then rip you off. If you saw his website on Groupon, he will encourage you to not purchase the groupon but go directly through him to save him money that would go to groupon.
I hired Josh to rake/remove thatch and leaves on my property. This scam artist shows up in a little sedan, no company name and hardly any garden tools.
I explained in detail what I needed him to do. Being that he was working by himself, raking/dethatching and leaf removal should take approximately 4 hrs.
After only 2 hrs., Josh claimed he was done. Because he blew my leaves into the forest and I have a nice lawn, it looked to be completed until checked later on.
This scam artist Josh then asks to be paid in cash. Later that day, I checked his work thoroughly and realized he left areas untouched and a large area not even raked out as I had asked him.
I called him back last Friday, 5/6/2016, josh agreed to come back and finish the job. I also mentioned there was a new negative remark on his website. He suddenly became irrate because I had seen the review.
Josh was suppose to return saturday afternoon. Josh called and said he was in Lansingburgh (1 hr. from my home) and asked if he could come up Sunday, 5/8 at 10:30 a.m. Sunday came, Josh calls and says he can't come because of the rain and will come back on Tuesday between the hrs of 3 - 4 p.m. Josh never showed up. Wednesday a.m. I placed a call asking him to come and finish the job. I never heard back from him.
I contacted groupon and told them he was scamming people and to remove his website from groupon.
Do not hire this man for anything. He is a deceitful lying scam artist.
