Jacksons Car Wash Reviews

On 1/15/2018, went to get my car detailed, including inside upholstery cleaning and the cleanting of the carpets and mats. They said they would not have time to do the detail work, but would give a basic wash, and I could pre-pay and come back within 30 days to get the work done. This was part of a holiday 'special" that the sales person said I could have.

I have been back there three times, with the last visit the morning of 1/28/18 around 10:00 A.M. Each time, I've been told that they do not have time to do the work that I have already paid for, and that I have to come back another day. The previous 2 times that I went, I was never told that I need to make an appointment, just to bring my car back in another day, and they will get the work done. This last visit, they told me that they would do it, but I would have to leave my car there the entire day ( I got there at 10:00 A.M.) and they could not guarantee that the work would even be done before 5:30 PM.

In addition, this last visit, I was told that I need to make an appointment because they were working on vehicles that just came in that day, meaning the cars they were currently working on, just got there, and had not pre-paid over two weeks ago, like I had, and they don't have time.

This is very frustrating and disappointing, as I work two jobs and go to school full-time! What in inconvenience! Stay away from this place unless you just want a basic wash!

A couple of months ago, I took my car to Jackson’s Car Wash for a detailing. My dog had an accident on the passenger seat, so I needed it scrubbed and sanitized. When they were done and I checked the car, the stain was still clearly visible and it still smelled. Also, I found a 2”-long scratch on my side quarter panel.

When I complained, they gave me a website address where I could file a claim with the company to fix the scratch. I filled out the form and sent it in. Unsurprisingly, I never heard back from them. Meanwhile, they told me to come back the next day and they would re-detail the car for free. I did so. They did manage to get the stain/smell out, but to my shock I found a 2nd scratch on the car, this time on the driver’s door!

I will never use Jackson’s Car Wash again. They are careless, and clearly don’t concern themselves with the damage caused by their employees. Their customer service is a joke. Meanwhile, I’m stuck with a new car with 2 very visible scratches on it. Disgraceful!

I took my car to get washed at Jackson's Car Wash on 23rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road. When it was done, I left and went to the store nearby. When I came out and walked to my car, I noticed a scratch on the front bumper that was not there before I took it to be washed. I went back to the car wash and talked to the manager, Brian. He just said it was not done by their equipment and must have been there when I brought it in. He would not own up to the damage or offer to repair it. He would not even refund my money. He had one of his guys to buff it and that turned out to be a temporary fix. He gave me his business card which did not have his phone number on it. I lost my patience and left.

My fiance and I brought the car to the Jackson's Car Wash on 7th ave and Bell yesterday (04/29/2017) and they suckered us into buying the car wash for Saturday and bring the car back Sunday for a detail. They said to bring the car early and we would be in and out within an hour. So I bring the car at 10am with my two young kids with the idea that we can entertain ourselves for an hour, especially since when I pulled into the car wash it was pretty empty. So I pull in and leave me keys in the car like they ask. We finally get back to Jackson's an hour and a half later, still no call from the car wash, and my car is still sitting at a gas pump. I figure maybe it's drying so I go inside and wait another 20 minutes. No call. I talk to the front desk lady who radios the detail shop.

"They haven't started it yet. It's a prepay detail so we keep it all day." (Meanwhile another "prepay" calls in pissed about the fact that his car isn't done either). Well wouldn't THAT have been nice to know when we dropped it off?! So fine, I call my dad to pick us up but i need my kids car seats. The front desk lady goes out to my car with me to grab my keys and she can't find my keys. Another guy, can't find my keys. A third guy comes up to me and when I ask where my keys are, "I don't know!" Perfect. Luckily I had a spare and when I unlocked my car, THERE WERE MY KEYS! In the ignition, locked in my car! Not sure how they would have figured that out if i didnt have a spare. And I was going to let go of the fact that the initial car wash was mediocre to say the least. I get a call that my car is ready and I end up waiting 25 minutes while a nice young man takes his time to do the job right (Duane).

Mind you, he seems shocked of how poorly the detail was. While he was working on my car, another nice man "finds" my car mats and then starts vacuuming my trunk that wasnt done. I go in to speak with the manager to request my money back or some compensation for the HORRIBLE work that was done... he told me he saw my review on Yelp, would not give me a refund, and to have a nice day. The lack of customer service is deplorable and they should be ashamed. I will chalk this up to a lesson learned as I have no desire at this point to go near that place again however values, customer service, and doing the right thing should be highest priority and the manager showed no interest in any of that.
