J.M. Field Marketing Reviews

BEWARE of Jack Field and his company JM Field Marketing. I Consider Mr. Field to be a complete Rip-OFF Artist and in my opinion feel that he will take your money any chance that he can get. The saying goes they Broke the Mold When making him.

Jack Fields Company JM FIELD MARKETING is a Third Party Logistics Comany in Ft. lauderdale Florida. A 3PL warehouses your products and fullfills your online web orders for you. Many companies that have online stores utilize these 3PL fullfillment centers to store and warehouse, pull, pack, and deliver orders as they come in online.

I have a small to medium sized online business and was not interested in running my own warehouse and instead wanted to concentrate on building and marketing my products. So I hired JM Field Marketing to be my warehouse and do my logistics and order fullfilment.

They first put you in contact with their saleman to get you set up and get you a contract. They tell you that they are great, their clients stay with them forever (Which We know now is False) and that they can be your easy button. The contract comes over, i review it and it looks good and looks like a perfect fit for my online business.

Basically they charge a storage fee per pallet per month which is reasonable rate. They then Charge A couple bucks an order for shipping a customer order. Which also seemed reasonable as I could charge a shipping and handeling charge and pass that cost through. They offer you a bunch of other services, such as dealer portals, customer service, marketing, etc whcih i thankfully did not use all at a price. They charge you the shipping price on freight from UPS or FED EX or whatever way they ship. Then where they get you is in the "Management Fees" They say that they bill management at $40-$50 Hour and my account shouldnt need much management. Overall everything looked fair and balanced and I executed the Contract.

For months they were shipping several hundred shipments a day for me and I was happy with the service. I was assigned account manager who was great. Cost was under a couple thousands dollars a month to do all of my fullfillment whcih was reasonable. Then month after Month i see the bills starting to rise with all sorts of hidden fees. It took hours for me to go through their reports whcih made no sense. Management fees started to climb even though I was shipping the same amount of products. They must have a tremendous amount of Turnover as we never had the same account managers, i can only imagine what it would be like to work for Mr. Field which is why there was probablys o much turn over. Eventually my bills were so out of control and after fighting with accounting on the bills I decided it needed to stop before they ran me out of business.

They had my Credit card on file and would arbitraily charge these huge invoices to my card. I was getting hit with so many fees it completely hurt my business and me personally creating huge probelms for my lively hood and my family. I had my inventory and products at their warehouse. Jack Field is a very Passive Agreesive Person in my opinion and I don't trust him whatsoever and these colors came through a I told him that I was going to end the relationship. He acted very nice and said no problem we will package all your stuff up real good for you and then WHAM! Hit me with a bill ofr TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! I kid you not, HE Hit me with completly fraudlent bills and said that he wont release any of my property until I pay him this money, money that feels like blood money from a complete Scam Artist. He must do this often and has become a wealthy person off of honest hard working business owners because as soon as i tried to disupte the bills and ask if he was out of his mind he decided to hold my inventory hostage and put a team of angry lawyer in front of me. He also said that I needed to wire transfer $30K Cash to him immediately or else he would sell my Property and Inventory which would put me out of business.

I consider myself a smart businessman with a solid contract and here I sit completely taken advantage of, abused, used, and between a rock in a hard place. Come up with $30,000 of Cash within 2 days (Which i didnt have) or Else he would "STEAL" and hold hostage over $250,000 of my products that he was storing. I had no choice and had to borrow money from everyone I could to get my products out of his hands.

He allowed my shipping carrier to come get my stuff and released it. As soon as my Pallets arrived I made sure to have thrid party witness there to go through the products whcih he assured should all be there and provided inevntory sheets and pictures. after watching the pallets be opened and going through my products I was happy to see that my stuff was back but then my fears and feelings about this guy came true. I was missing a large dollar amount of brand new inventory that i had just built and sent to him. Although i never wish to talk with this person again as I know he will just parade his lawyers and deny any wrongdoing. Its all threats, lawyers, and lies.

My experience with Jack Field and JM FIELD Marketing has been the worst time of my life. What could have been a great partner turned out to be a complete SCAM. DO Not Trust this person or this company. I am Afraid that they will steal your money as they did mine and completely ruin another business. I wish i never picked up the phone to call this company as I have lost so much dealing with them. Please protect yourself and your business and do not be taken advantage of the way I was.

I believe they are running a major SCAM and if anyone else has had a similiar experience with this company or knows how to recoup some of these losses and put a stop to this please reach out, I would love to hear your opinions.
