International Branding Media Reviews

  • Dec 14, 2015

Mr. Karl Schilling, based on a mutual associate’s referral, called me and sent me information to join his Strategic Alliance Advocacy Partnership for the annual cost of: $895.00. This Advocacy Alliance Partnership gave me the rights to annually own the Advocate lead-generating, auto-responder, data base, marketing system via a Landing Page. This Landing Page would display my name and company and give 3rd party testimony to the legitimacy of my Broker insurance business. Online viewers of my landing page, would fill out a request for more information about the “free” Advocacy consumer membership program. Their information would go into the system’s auto-responder - upon which I would receive notification from the Alliance Advocacy Marketing System to call each respondent; only after, they have received the generated Advocacy Network system’s membership packet. When calling respondents, I would use the phone script sent by Karl Schilling to welcome respondents to join the Advocacy free membership program; during this conversation,

I would advise them of my various insurance services, tailored solutions; and, my availability to service them. According to Karl Schilling, The Advocate, an online landing page, is designed to capture interest of business people looking for a membership into his: Advocacy Program called: The Advocacy Network, -its purpose is to protect members from predators with fraudulent business proposals and activities; providing members a shield against victimization. Karl Schilling, as founder and Sr. VP of Sales Development for his project called: The Advocacy Network, advised me of this lead generating idea in March of 2015 -- not for "free" membership, but to join as a Strategic Alliance Partner with yearly rights to this lead generating marketing system landing page. Before agreeing, I wrote Mr. Schilling, that I had a website and did not need another website, but in view of the information that he, Karl Schilling, sent to me and our brief conversations, my interest was in a system that produces leads.

Karl Schilling promised me the following: for an annual payment of $895.00 my Strategic Alliance Membership would provide me the following benefits. – • A personalized Lead Generating Landing Page –that would be tied to UTube, and Face Book Business Page. • I would receive an initial setup of 3,500 member leads, at 5 - 7 leads per day. • I would receive: 10,000 email lead names, of Richmond, VA., business men, for me to call, and to invite them to become a Free Advocacy member. • I would receive a script written by Karl Schilling to contact all email names and leads who received the Advocacy Network packet – welcome them and advise each of the reasons to be part of the “free” Advocacy network membership. I, as an Alliance Partnership member, also would advise of my own services. After Mr. Karl Schilling received my payment of: $895.00. The following results are the “beginning” of what occurred: • Karl Schilling’s landing page work was shoddy: - misspelling my name; my gender, and a short bio-text, from my website was captured incorrectly. (Please note, since I complained, he has cleared up these mistakes.)

• He planted an ill sized postcard picture on my Face Book page, fonts were fuzzy and bleeding and could not be • corrected. This page is now useless to me. • The UTube area on my Landing Page was filled with unrelated viewer discourse re: "pyramid schemes”, and other unsavory content; plus, a lot of promotion for Karl Schilling’s areas of interest – Fiat money versus gold purchases. He directed viewers to contact him personally to buy gold – Even though, he knew that I was appointed to sell gold, especially on my own landing page. (After again, complaining to him, he has cleaned up the site.) My main issue with Mr. Karl Schilling is that he concealed and omitted critical facts in his verbal and written communication to me. Later on, he changed written and verbal promises, of which I relied on. This subsequent information, certainly shows, how I’ve been misled. To have known this information, before hand; it would have stopped me from joining Mr. Karl Schillings’ Strategic Alliance, Advocacy Partnership. Here are the facts: However, he took my money under this pretense. • Mr. Karl Schilling, now advises that for me to have leads from my landing page, I would have to pay him: • A premium of: $995 per month. • His clients pay him $995 a month and they receive: 200 + leads per month.

• The 10,000 Richmond businessman leads, he promised, he now calls: only “added value”, and he does not have to follow through. By error, three leads, came in April, 2015 - to my landing page auto-responder. I sent the three names from my landing page, an email, and called them. I discovered that either the email was bogus, or the phone number was bogus. I subsequently, called Mr. Karl Schilling, and advised him. Mr. Schilling advised me, by phone, “to ignore them, and, he’ll take care of it”. Mr. Karl Schilling and I hardly communicated, I even wrote him as to our lack of communication. He gave me no training, other than sending me, what I felt was a disappointing script with questionable gaps in it, and telling me to read it. Whenever I questioned him or wanted an explanation to clarify his project, the lack of leads, his script etc., he would go (by phone) into a philosophical dissertation about his experiences, his achievements and who else did I know that he could speak to. He is quite beguiling. Please know, I never received any other leads again. In September, of 2015, we corresponded. I wrote him and asked a refund of my money $895. He refused. He advised of his cost to do the landing page etc., I then said that I would take that into account, so I want half of that - $447.50.

He said, "no", he will give me $200, and he has not answered my rejection of to his offer of $200; nor, did he care about my saying I would contact Better Business Bureau, he was indifferent. Neither, has he acknowledged my fairness of asking for at least half of what I paid for a landing page which is absolutely useless to me and is not "lead generating" as he promised me. He recently sent me an article that “I should not have believed in a “silver bullet”, because there is no such thing as a “silver bullet”. Yet, he sold his Advocacy Alliance Partnership with landing page as a system that was a silver bullet. Mr. Schilling has hurt my business; he took my advertising budget and gave me zero. He is arrogant and indifferent. Most of all, he spouts about scamming, and rip offs and victimization, when he is the master of it all. I wonder how many others he has used for his own schemes. I am very glad there is a RipOff as a resource to warn other people about this man who has perpetuated fraud on me. I, hope that RipOff can change his behavior. All documents will be provided upon request. Thank you.
