Vince van Meer is a real piece of work. I ordered a digital marketing service from his firm which you would think would be delivered right away. It was a weekend so I thought I'd hear from his company by Monday morning - at least confirmation of receiving the order and when it would be delivered. Standard business practice from my perspective.
Monday goes by I hear nothing. Tuesday rolls around and it's getting later in the day and I haven't heard from his company and at all. Nothing. Nada. I send an email inquiring about the whereabouts of my order and when it will be delivered. Vince actually sends me an email saying he was "waiting for a confirmation email" from me. I'm thinking how can I send you a confirmation email if you never even sent me an email to confirm anything in the 1st place - let alone an actual email to say you received my order and when you're going to deliver it.
He then proceeds to ask me for more money in the email saying that he will use the money I've already paid as a credit towards the new purchase. At this point, I'm really frustrated that he's asking me for more money on a service that I believed I was already getting and now I have to pay more? So I sent an email saying it was unprofessional that you never confirmed my order or sent any correspondence to me once my order was placed and that he was also asking me to pay more. He begins to get really nasty in the emails he was sending me and fires back at me with how "unprofessional" I am - mind you I'm not the one selling anything.
I ask for a refund after not receiving my order and this dude flat out says "No". In his words, "We don't give refunds. We're dealing with digital, intangible goods here. An irreversible service." It seemed a little odd to me that if a company hadn't actually delivered a service they'd be more than willing to give refund.
I sent a disput to the company I sent the payment through and he sends me a nasty email threatening to take legal action against me because I asked for a refund. He then slyly delivers Half of the DIGITAL SERVICE - A WEEK after the order to keep the payment company from forcing him to give me a refund. Please note that I said HALF of the DIGITAL SERVICE. Can you imagine ordering a full cup of iced coffee at Starbucks and the barista gives you half a cup with no ice? That's what this feels like actually it's worse because it was delivered a week later half full. Like I said this guy Vince is a real piece of work and I think he actually masquerades saying he has other people working in his firm like this person "Rose" it seemed odd to me that the both Rose and Vince answered from the same email. Usually when there's a company or business - each member of the business has there own separate company email.
The whole thing has just been a big headache. It's officially been 11 days since I ordered his services and I still only got HALF of what I paid for. Stay away. Stay far away from this dude Vince and his business. I've never known a company to make a customer feel at fault for a Lack of Action on their part to not the deliver the DIGITAL goods that were ordered.
