Insphere Insurance Solutions Reviews

I have worked for a couple of other companies, none of which had this commission structure. Yes, they advance you months of commission. They have to , because the commission is incredibly low on low cost products. Could you survive on 46 percent of a 30.00 product, when the average sales are maybe 5-10 a week? The insurance business is not easy, and it's a numbers game with a lot of time and effort put out on your part before one deal is made, and then, people cancel or change their minds many times due to budget, or what have you. It takes a lot of time and effort to get just one person to sign up. There is no way you could survive without this "loan", and it is a loan, as stated in their compensation literature, that they are charging .05 percent interest on.....and they hold you "captive", which means you cannot sell any other insurance products with other companies. Also, you pay for your own leads. Again, there are numerous companies that do not do this, they may, for instance pay you 100 percent commission on one month, or something to that effect, and provide leads for free, and not make you sign a captive agreement. Another reviewer stated it all looks great at the beginning, and it does, they also assume you sign up when you first meet with them, they hand you the paperwork, and you pay some kind of sign up fee for background or something like that, but the best way to do this is to have another job on the side until you sell enough policies. They are looking for folks that will stay with their company for years, which you can't blame them for, so once you are in, you are in. I have likened it to "coyotes" that make people pay off their fare to get to another country, but they never really get out of debt to their captives. There was another poster that said they are "building their book of business", but again, none of the people or policies they are selling are that poster's, because if he leaves, that ,"book of business" ,is not kept by him, it goes to Health Markets, and he has to start from scratch after possibly years of work. In addition, he owes thousands to the company since he has "kept selling" with money advanced. That is their motto and advice to all..."just keep selling", which benefits them because you get further and further in the hole, and have to stay on that treadmill until you can afford to go to "as earned" because you have 100's of policies moving along. They are constantly hiring agents, because the more agents, the more money for upper management, and more captive agents, so taking competition off the marketplace. Advice is to have another gig on the side, and stay "as earned" with Health Markets, otherwise you will be digging a nice deep hole for yourself, and a bill will be generated for you if you ever leave. This is not an uncommon practice in the industry I have learned, but there are many, many companies that will pay in other ways, that are not so scary. Certain offices have better management staff than others, and from what I understand, Health Markets is nationwide. I can only speak for California. The people are nice, I don't think they are malicious in anyway, but you may want to consider what you are in for when working as a captive agent on advanced loaned commissions.
