What a joke! The salesman did a demonstration using two heat lamps over foam insulation. He stuck two thermometers into the insulation. He covered one with this aluminum insulation he was hawking and left the other one uncovered. Several minutes later he showed the thermometer not covered by the aluminum sheet was hotter than the one covered. Of course it was. The uncovered thermometer had no insulation protecting it from the heat lamps. If he had placed the thermometers under the foam insulation, maybe then he would have had something resembling a valid demonstration.
