In the spring of 2016 I purchased a 14 pound bag of Arm & Hammer Feline Pine cat litter for $16.99. The litter advertised a "get your money back rebate" on the label. After purchasing, I sent in all required rebate information in the alloted timeframe (The deadline was not until Nov. 30, 2016) to the rebate processing center, Inmar Rebates, inmarrebates.com.

After a couple of weeks, I tracked the rebate online at inmarrebates.com, and my status showed that a check had been issued on August 16th, 2016 for $13.89. I did not receive the check.

In September 2016 I emailed Inmar using the contact information given when tracking down a missing rebate, I recieved no response.

In October 2016 I called Inmar and spoke with a representative. The representative that I spoke with said that she would cancel the original check and have another check issued.

I did not receive it.

In December 2016 I called Inmar again on the 28th of the month and sat on hold for nearly 10 minutes. No one ever came on the line, and I was cut off.

I received this email from “Cesar” at Inmar/[email protected] on December 30th:

"Our system shows the payment for this rebate is still outstanding. We can only issue a stop

payment on a check over the phone to ensure no bank fees are incurred by the consumer. We are

not allowed to complete this process via email communication.

Please call our office at 877-322-8355-VDN # 8355, M-F, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, EST. Please press

option 1 to speak to an agent. When calling, please reference your submission number. Thank you

for your cooperation on this matter. "

I called once more on January 13, 2017 and spoke with a representative named Leo who assured me that they would cancel the original check and issue another rebate check (again.) As of today, February 22nd, 2017, I have not received it.

When I check my rebate status online at inmarrebates.com, the original information is there - that I have submitted the information correctly, and that a check was issued on 8/16/16. The tracking information also shows that the check has not cleared.

I believe that this rebate is somehow a scam - does Arm & Hammer pay them for the rebates, and then they do not issue the rebates to the consumer? I am trying to figure out how Inmar is making money from this scam. I am seriously disappointed.

On top of that, my cat would not use the litter, so I am out the $16.99 plus tax, and never used the litter, which would have been no big deal, as it wasn't a risk considering the company was offering a rebate, making this bag of litter (almost) free to try. I will not purchase it again.

Bota box wine

Sent my info for $3.00 rebate, was returned to sender, vacant (whatever that means!), unable to forward. I double checked that I had the correct address. Complete scam company!

Inmar rebate returned as VACANT ADDRESS

I also sent in a rebate on Feb 21, 2020 and received it back on March 11, 2020 with post office message: "return to sender, vacant address, unable to forward." I told the store where I purchased the product and received the rebate form what happened and they were kind enough to honor the rebate themselves, but shouldn't have had to.

I submitted for a in November 2017, I tracked the rebate online and it states my rebate was not processed because is was "invalid". I called the 877-322-8355 and spoke with the associates who claimed they could not find the wine on my receipt. I pointed out where it was and she said OK I see it I'll process your claim. The new claim gets process and final it states a check was issues on 12-26-2017. I called today but the check did not arrive and the associates states the check was return to them as "not deliverable" and they cancelled the check. Strange that would happen since she read me the address and it was correct in their system and I've had the same address for over 20 years. I asked what would have happened if I did not call and she said they would send me a letter in 6 months. OK now this is feeling much like a scam, they cancelled the check and will wait 6 months to send me a letter. She they stated she will re-issue another check and it will take 3+ week for it to be re-processed. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she put me on hold for 11 minutes and then picked up the phone and hung up. I called back and the next associate said they have no supervisors and she could leave a note to have one call me.

I suspect this is what they do, make the initial claim as "invalid" you call they re-issue the claim, state they processed and check and they strangely the check gets returned. They hope you forget and go away and they pocket the money. I think I need to contact the manufacture Sutter Homes and let them in on what is happening on the rebates they offer through Inmar. I'm not confident I'll ever get the rebate!

Failure to honor rebate

I received a coupon for $5.00 off Pinnacle Vodka in the local newspaper, filled it out, and submitted it as per the instructions. I received notice that the rebate is being denied because the product was not purchased in an authorized state. No where on the ad or rebate form did it ever mention a qualifying state stipulation. This is underhanded and a deceptive business practice and I will not buy any more Jim Beam products or any of their brand extensions.

By advertizing adds from Inmar rebate coupon with $ 4.00 rebate . On Jul 07-03-2020 I did purchased a 12 pack Heinekein beer from Walgreens store With all original Walgreens reciept and $4.00 rebate coupon I did fillout all info and send to Inmar Rebate center and wait for refund .

After one month later they return the post card to deny with notes : Submitter did not provide valid age information. ( before I did purchase the beer at Wallgreen store the cash register requires me to show him with my I/D )

This is a deceptive way to lure the customer to buy more products from them and cheating the customer's trust.I request you to investigate and prevent this incident will happen again to the next victims. If you need I will provide you with all my copies of these paperwork. Thanks for your concern in this matter.

Absolut Vodka Rebate Scam

At the end of May 2020 I submitted the required information for a $60 rebate on the purchase of 6 bottles of Absolut Vodka. I received the response that the purchase could not be identified on the receipt. I find this very suspect as all of the bottles are next to each other on the receipt and I had to write the UPC for each bottle next to where it was located on the receipt. I had read many complaints warning that this is how this center chooses to operate and now I know it is true.

Absolut Vodka Rebate Scam

I purchased 6 bottles of Absolut Vodka with a $60 rebate with all bottles next to each other on the receipt that was submitted. Receive information that they can not honor the rebate because it is not clearly marked on the receipt even though I had to write the UPC code to each bottle right next to each of the bottles purchased on the receipt. I was leery having read many of the complaints/reviews of the Inmar Rebate Center and believe I am just another honest customer who has been scammed.

Ralphs and Treasure Wine Estates offered a promotion where you buy 6 bottle of wine and you will receive a certificate up to 50.00 dollars to be used at Ralphs Deli for a platter or meal and you pay only .01 cent. I purchase the wine 6 bottles actually i purchased 12 bottles total, 6 bottles at 2 different trips and filled out the promo form along with my orginal receipt. Both times I get a card sayng "ALL REQUIRED PURCHASES NOT IDENTIFIED ON REF RECPT".

I call their customer rebate center and explain to them, I am told by CSR that I had to buy the platter first then they would send me the gift cert. No where on this form or on the display in store did it state this requirement the whole thing was misleading. Other friends of mine did the same promo and all of then received the same card in the mail that they would not be receiving the promised promo.

This is the worst promotion I have ever done, Completely misleading and nothing but a scam. The offer code for this was 98154178 THIS WAS A TOTAL RIPOFF THANKS FOR NOTHING!!! Will be complaining to Treasury Wines and Ralphs as well

Sent the required slip and materials for a Waterpik Rebate 11-17-2107 for 15$ to Del Rio Texas, and luckily kept a copy of my reciept and SKU number.

Checked on status in Jan. 2018 on their site which claimed my rebate was denied due to a missing UPC symbol which is false. Contacted the company on 1-21-2018 and spoke to Evelyn who magiacally found that my submission was correct, and told me my check would be sent out with the report number 118022131842626.

Upon calling on 2-2-2108 I was told that now my check would be sent out on Feb. 6. Why wasn't it sent on 1-21-18? Why wasn't it sent back in November 2017?Doing a little research it seems to be this company's method of operation, hoping you forget to inquire about your rebate. I have contacted Waterpik company and plan on calling the North Carolina Attorney general consumer protection division.

Arm & Hammer Slide Cat Litter Rebate

I purchased the 20 lb.size offering refund of purchase price with submittal deadline dec 31 2017. Today is Oct 31, so obviously timely. I have spent a frustrating morning registering with Inmar.com and filling out the form only to have a pop up saying it could not be processed. I therefore spent the last hour online waiting for a costumer rep. on the phone. Finally, someone came and gave me a website address which is not valid. I have long used the products from Arm and Hamner, but since there seems to be no way to contact corporate or get this rebate processed, I am disgusted and will NEVER purchase any product under the A & H brand.

Recieved a post card stating claim was invalid and to resubmit. Tried calling 6 or more times to see what exactly was missing and always get disconnected. Can't resubmit if I don't know what is missing and they have the original receipt.

Rebate offer on Arm&Hammer Slide Cat Litter requires registration with Inmar rebates. The website does not recognize the rebate offer. It leads nowhere.

  • Sep 11, 2017

Tried to submit online rebate form for Arm n Hammer litter rebate offer and cite will not allow you to submit rebate due to cite not offering required information to tab on.

  • Aug 12, 2017

I submitted all the information for a $30 FoodSaver rebate, including the receipt, the rebate form and cut out UPC from the box. I let 8 weeks go by, contacted the company and received this response:" We did not receive a UPC from the box or product’s packaging. Please attach the original UPC to the invalid notice you received and return to the address provided on the notice to Del Rio, Texas."

Really, huh, then where did it go? Disappear into thin air? I didn't know that items magically disappeared when placed in an envelope.

I also find it interesting that when I took a screenshot of the website 2 days ago when I submitted the online question form at https://inmarrebates.com/SearchSubmissionResults.aspx. It had:

Date Mailed: 07/25/2017

but that it was "In process"

Today, when I checked it, it was "In process" and the date mailed is gone.

And what "invalid notice" I did not recieve an invalid notice.

I sent in my rebate for Old Mil. Beer discount, double checking that everything was in the envelope. They refused to honor the rebate, telling me that the upc was missing or not original! I know what I sent....

  • Jul 27, 2017

Inmar rebates failed in the processing of a simple $2.00 Mike's Hard Lemonade rebate. I sent the completed form, original receipt, and original UPC from bottom of the 6pack carrier. Received post card indicating the submission was invalid due to no upc code submitted or not an original. I'm very careful in processing the relatively few rebates that I submit as I have done this for many many years and know that anything missing or not original usually results in rebate rejection.

I of course scanned in my submission so I have that level or proof, but obviously cannot send in the original UPC again!

This rebate on Arm and Hammer SLIDE litter to "Try Me Free" notes one must go to the URL "InmarRebates.com/AHLItter" to get a form. This screen did not work at all, so after contacting the company, I received a different URL. But on that one, when one attempts to complete the registration FOR the form, one field (for the UPC) will not work. Thus, when I could not get the form via this method, I contacted the company two more times to find a solution.

I received no real help to resolve this issue, and they would not email a PDF of the form to otherwise complete. I did warn them that I'd even report it as a scam, but still did not receive any help. I will now return the litter to the store, but wanted to warn others of this problem from Inmar Rebates.

  • May 17, 2017

I was shopping in PetsMart, I saw the large sticker (form submission) on SLIDE cat litter (Arm & Hammer) which said FREE, (try Free) SO, I decided to give it a try. I read all the small print (rules) and submitted the form, with my original receipt and the UPC from the box. I waited a VERY long time only to receive a postcvard stating that the receipt does not have a date on it. REALLY? PetsMart doesn't date their receipts all the sudden? It's just another time-wasting, annoying, SCAMMER of a COMPANY and I WILL be following up with Arm & Hammer along with the others who have reported this scam on the Facebook Consumer Group. SO, Hopefully, Arm & Hammer does not choose SCAMMER Inmar, Inc. ever again.

I have SEVERAL rebates that fulfilled all requirements that show as ''INVALID'' on your website and I''d like to know why. I''m sure you kept copies of all documents submitted as did I I had my daughters husband scan everything into a cloud for me before mailing. Many of these offers I only buy your products because of a rebate making them similar or better priced then other products that are comparable to yours, so it is very unethical to renig on a rebate that was done in good faith with the expectations of you keeping your end. All of these Submission Numbers claim invalid, even though some of these were 3 per HH and the other 2 were deemed valid. PLEASE fix this ASAP. 216302075223590, 216309084536487, 216329175132617, 216306083113683, 217013221852297, 216302150731967, 217013162601190, 216294184706727, 216218133033380 In addition, submission 216218082737263 was for 18 yet check issued was only for 1. The total of these rebates you have listed ''invalid'' is 121 which is quite a bit of money that I could had saved by buying another brand if I had known you would not fulfill your end of the deals offered.

Inmar Rebate Center is the company that is handling rebate submissions for CR Brands Products Money Back Guarantee. I submitted my rebate to CR Brands Inc. in July 2016 and heard nothing from anyone regarding the status of my rebate. No email message even stating that my rebate has been approved or denied or anything. Ultimately, in early September 2016, I contacted CR Brands and was told that Inmar is the company that is handling the rebate submissions. After Googling Inmar Rebates, I was led to their website where I was able to track my rebate status. According to their rebate tracker, my rebate was approved and a check for $10.76 was supposedly issued on August, 23, 2016.

Now considering this was early September, I decided to stay patient and wait for the rebate check to come in the mail. On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, I called Inmar Rebates (877.322.8355) to notify that I haven’t received the rebate check. I was approved for the rebate and they supposedly sent out the check on August 23, 2106. However, the (female) representative I spoke to apologized for them not putting my apartment number when mailing out the check and stated that this may have been the reason why I didn’t receive the check. This was hard for me to believe, as my apartment number was clearly written on the rebate submission form and I have the scan to prove it. Plus, I’m the only person with this first and last name in my building. I was told that they would reissue me another rebate check which I should receive within 30 days. I questioned the representative as to why I should have to wait another 30 days for something that was already approved and has been delayed due to their error? I received a typical robotic response as the Inmar customer service representative made it clear that there was nothing she could do to help expedite me receiving the rebate check. Nevertheless, I once again remained patient waiting for my rebate check to come.

This brings us to today, November 22, 2016. It’s over 30 days and I still haven’t received the check. When checking the online rebate status tracker on Inmar's website, it shows that the rebate check for $10.76 was issued on October 20, 2016. So I decided to call Inmar again to find out what was going on. I spoke to a rather terse representative named Benjamin. I made sure to confirm that they had my apartment number listed when they sent out the reissued check. Benjamin confirmed that they did. He apologized and told me again, that they would mail out another check. Once again, I requested of him to send out the check via expedited services but he acted as if it was out of his hands, He gave me no timetable when I would be receiving this 3rd (supposed) attempt of the mailed rebate check.

At this point, I have no faith in this company. They received my rebate submission in July 2016. It is almost December now and I still have not received my rebate check. I have gone above and beyond when it comes to being patient with this company. This company is very incompetent and I feel ripped off and question whether they are running some type of scam. In 2016, no one should have to pull hairs just to receive a rebate check that they have already been approved of.

A coupon was attached to a display of about 100 bottles of Kendall Jackson wines that said if you buy 6, you mail in the coupon and they will send you $24.00. You had to send the ORIGINAL receipt and fill out their form on the coupon attached to the bottle. The coupon was impossible to write on so I photocopied it, enlarged it, filled it out and submitted it along with the original coupon, and the original cash register receipt. I mailed all that on 10/26/16. On 11/19, I received a postcard back saying that my "submission was not valid for fulfilment due to the reason(s) listed below: Reason 16--All required purchases not identified on Reg Recpt." That was aboslutely false. It gave a phone number to call 877-819-4280. I called it. Was put thru and it was robot answered putting me on hold. Finally after about 5 minutes on hold, voice said, "all agents busy...call back another time." I called back right away and said that if I did not get a call within the next 24 hours, I was calling the TX attorney general's office. Then I went online and found this scam blog. Figures. We'll see what happens. I bought the wine at a Safeway store. I will be telling them to remove these false coupons.

Berlinger Founder Estate Rebate Denied

I received notification that my rebate for $18 was denied for reason #3 REG RECPT DID NOT CONTAIN A VALID PURCHASE DATE. I sent the original receipt, so no recourse, but it's odd that the computer generated receipt would not have a date. The only other thing I can think of is that they are just denying rebates and pocketing the money for themselves. Oh well, it's an inconvenience filling out those rebate forms anyway. Not a hoop I will jump through again.

INMAR REBATE CENTER

I have submitted 4 rebates to Inmar in the past year. For 2 of them I have been told that I didn't submit the proper/needed information. The first one was for a mini-refrigerator and because the amount was relatively large ($20) I photocopied my submission. When I called I was told that I hadn't put the serial number on the form. I said, "Yes, I did. I have a copy of the form I sent." The representative said, "Maybe you put it on your copy but not the original." I said, "It's a photocopy." Busted! They sent me my money. The second one was for a beer 12-pack. Once again I had a copy of my submission. Plus when I received a rejection I went to the store and took a cell phone photo of the box with the name of the beer and the UPC code. I called and pointed out that I had proof, and they said they would send my rebate. So my advice would be make a photocopy of the form, UPC code, and cash register receipt. And follow-up on any rejection. I don't know why they reject perfectly good claims but it seems to be part of their business model.

The Korbel Brandy Company used INMAR to handle their rebate program, designed to shaft submitters. I was shafted, and if you can tell I'm extremly ticked off.

I wrote directly to Korbel, and of course they didn't bother to reply. I urge you to drink Christian Brothers or any other brand.

I know that they are a monster company and a peon like me complaining won't make much difference, but none the less someone has to call out the dirtbags, I swear I'll never buy another bottle of Korbel.
