I Move Auto Reviews

  • Apr 7, 2021

I MOVE AUTO is a broker. They buy leads from various lead providers. Lead providers in the auto transport industry monopolize google ad words so small time brokers can not afford to buy these ad words and make a profit moving cars. I Move Auto receives these leads and here is what they do.

1) without talking to the customer who requested the lead.... they post the vehicle on the national dispatch board. Sometimes they do this a month or two in advance of the customers move.

2) this fraud causes every other broker, who legitimately has a car to move, to post their customers car at a higher price in order to get it noticed faster and moved first.

3) Unfortunately when the customer needs to move their car who was posted through this fraud scam by I MOVE AUTO.... the price to move their car just got jacked up through this fraud! It's a total scam!

4) trucker (known as carriers in the business) all know that I MOVE AUTO is doing this so they no longer pickup for I MOVE AUTO. Not unless I MOVE AUTO charges the highest rates in the industry. Then and only then will a carrier take the chance to run a load for such a scum back organization.

5) The unsuspecting customer gets a call from I MOVE AUTO and they hear "we actually have a truck for you".... "here is our price. By this time the customer was hounded by 30 to 40 other brokers who were legitimately calling to earn the customers business first before pretenting to have their order like I MOVE AUTO does, and this is how the customer over pays because they are fed up at this point with the whole process.

6) Oh... and on top of all that.... the driver can over charge the customer and hold the car hostage until the fee is paid because I MOVE AUTO does not work for the customer... they work for the F rated carriers who will help them with their scam!

7) why are they not shut down or have bad reviews? Because the customers never pay I MOVE AUTO a dime..... if you do post a negative review about them.... they will call the review site and get the review removed because they say - we never did business with them. Remember - they were paid by the carrier not the customer. The customer has no leg to stand on.

8) One more thing. God help you if this carrier damages your car. I MOVE AUTO will block your phone number and never help you get a resolution from the carrier. NO WAY.

Don't say you were not warned. Buyer beware. I MOVE AUTO is one of the bad guys.

This company was the first to respond to my request for a quote (on line). I liked the fast response so I moved forward with the quote. Not long after, many other quotes came in for the same move at rates that were $400 less than the quote from I MOVE AUTO.

Don't fall for their fast response. It's a TOTAL SCAM. These guys are scum. They take advantage of people by jumping quick to scam those with little experience in the auto transport industry. Shop around. Do your homework. These guys are not the answer.

Shame on I MOVE AUTO for picking an F Rated carrier to move my Mercedes Benz G Wagon. Truck driver smoked in my new vehicle. Truck driver put 349 miles on my vehicle. This was a door-to-door contract to be transported inside an enclosed truck. Vehicle shows up on an open carrier 7 days later than expected. Total unprofessional idiots.

High pressure sales tactics - zero customer service - terrible choice of carrier - drove my vehicle .... IT DOES NOT GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS PEOPLE!

Every day one auto transport broker called I MOVE AUTO ripoffs a consumer by doing the following:

1) when they receive a quote request they post the vehicle on a national dispatch board pretending to have authorization to move the consumers vehicle (they do this without written authorization).

2) they post the load immediately in an effort to find the first truck able to move the car (before any other reputable auto transporter makes the sale).

3) the unsuspecting consumers gets a call from I MOVE AUTO claiming they actuallly have a truck (they act like a carrier when in fact they are not a carrier - violating the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules.

4) they do not try to find the lowest price possible - they try to find the first truck - any truck - even F rated carriers that have a history of damaging vehicles, trucks that are always late and.... the worst.... trucks that do not carry the correct amount of cargo insurance.

5) A poorly rated carrier hired by I MOVE AUTO will pull scams on customers including the following:

1) add fees that were not expected and then they hold the car hostage until the extra fees are paid.

2) they do not provide a proper bill of lading (a receipt) when they pickup the vehicle. If they forget to put the mileage on the bill of lading and they over book their truck... they hire idiots to drive the cars that should be transported. The consumer has no leg to stand on at the time of delivery. Why? Because the carrier will not let you get in and check your mileage because they demand payment before the vehicle is taken off the truck. Total Scam.

IT IS FOR THESE REASONS AND MANY MANY MORE THAT THIS COMPANY HAS AN F RATING WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
