I recieved a phone call from this company tonight. The woman on the phone did not give me her name or the company she was calling for just informed me that the call may be recorded. She then asked for someone who does not live with me. The phone they called is my personal cell number not this other person's phone. As I tried to tell her this the woman hung up on me. I got the name of the company by googling the phone number. I find this to be very rude and inappropriate that they would call my cell phone and that it's not for me. Then hang up when you try to tell them this.

So, my ex husband had a stroke and we had to move him out of his apartment complex because he was not able to live by himself any longer. The apartment complex decided that they were due an additional month rent even after we provided documents as to the stroke and his condition afterward from the doctor.

They sent the a collection to Hunter-Warfield. I called them to attempt to settle this BS claim since the man was left basically unable to do for himself, he was unable to live in an apartment by himself and everyone else lived out of the state. They did not want to listen, they agreed to settle the account for $600, I asked for an email to be sent stating that I had made the payment. I was told no, by Brian Williams, his supervisor and her supervisor.

I was not asking for your first born, I was asking for something to give the attorney to show where I had paid the $600. They said I would have to wait 20 -30 days for it to come in the mail, I stated that he could die within that time. They told me it was against company policy, I asked for a copy of the policy so I could give that to the attorney, again I was told no. I find it disturbing that a company would collect on something that could not have been prevented. I did not have to call the company to get this settled, the ex could have died and and they would not have gotten a dime; since he doesn't have any money anyway.

But no, trying to do the right thing this company could not even work with us to send an email, but rather suggested I pay with a credit card and be charged and additional $14.95, I said I did not have the additional $14.95, could they reduce the settlement that amount, and again was told no.

Bunch of freaking theives to take money from a disabled stroke person who had to move due to not being able to live by himself, even with the medical documentation they did not care, they just wanted thier money.
