I was told that i would have the same problem with the fluid leaking into the spark plugs if i did not repair it. day two i received a phone call stating that one of the spark plugs were stripped and could not be put back in. day three .i was told that the technician would have to take the head off to fix the problem.and that i would have to pay 3000.00 $ are to get my car towed home due to not being able to repair the plug that the tech pulled out due to it being stripped now my car that was running with no problems not running at all due to there repair issues. i don't know what to do.help.
The name Honest-1 is a joke here. Took car in for brake pads. 2 days later, water pump pouring antifreeze. Took it back. Said approx. 800 to repair my 07 lexus. Kept for 4 days, each day, calling me and texting me with photos and delays. The 3rd evening, I was informed that the belt tensioner had broken, and would be charged for this as well. Cost 1000.00 with discount.
Finally, after 4 days, I got my car back with no fluid in it and the cover for my engine broken. I had a new leak, which I called about a few days later, since it was in same area where they had worked. While I had him on phone, I asked why my resevoir would be completely dry when they had charged me for special Lexus anti freeze. He said that is normal and it shouldn't have any liquid in it. His name is Skip. I thought this to be odd. I always was told to make sure the fluids were all ok in my car.
Took it elsewhere yesterday. Owner of the place took pity on me and fixed at no charge. Showed me that they put a 10 year old hose back on when repair was done, causing my power steering fluid to leak all out. This was New leak I was seeing. Also, My car took over a gallon of anti-freeze, which, while he was filling, I said "wait don't you need to get it from Lexus?" He said what do you mean? I said I was told it has to have special expensive lexus kind. He laughed and said there is no such thing. If I had not had my car checked again, it would have blown the engine, but first my power steering would have went out, possibly causing an accident.
Do not trust these people at Honest 1. I reached out to the owner and he will not respond. I put a negative review on his website and it doesn't show up. They are new in town, and I hope nobody else falls victim to their scam operation. I am a single mom, and I feel horrible about how I was taken advantage of.
