Home Resolution Center Reviews

  • Mar 3, 2018

I received a letter in the mail stating that Home Resolution Center would be able to help me in refinancing my home so I could get a lower payment. I have gone throught this process once before, so I thought I knew what I was doing. I contacted them and got the process stared back in December of 2017.

I stared communicating with Troy Campbell. He was very sympathetic to my situation and told me how he could help. I listened to what he had to say, and it all sounded on the up and up. He sent me the Modification Agreement contract for me to sign and date, with a list of things he would need from me to send back to him. I signed the contract, and sent all documents back to him. We then set up a phone call with the Consignment Department and we would go from there. We set up a date and time and me, that person, and Troy were all on the phone going over how they could help me.

Once we got all the phone calls done with them, I was told a payment plan would be put into place. I would have to make three payments to them of $1200.00 for a total of $3600.00. I at this time like the last believed these payments were being made to my lender and HRC was workign with them to help me save my home. Tina stated in an email to me that We are not charging for hte modicication---we process paperwork and make sure your lender has what they need to get you approvedd if eligible by Lender Guidelines. She also stated that there were no guarantees when it came to the modificaiton process, which I was well aware of.

Once I was passed off to Tina from Troy, Troy would no longer return my calls, or emails at all. I started getting a bit suspicious about this company that stated they could help me. I went online and read a few reviews. When I confronted Tina about the bad emails, she just stated they were not able to help everyone. This was in March of 2017 and she started getting rude with me when I started questioning her companies motives.

I received a default letter from my lender and this was very concerning. When I called and spoke to Tina, she stated that this was normal as we were over there months past due on the payments. I told her I understood, but I had made payments to them, so I did not understand why this was happening. That is when she told me the $3600.00 I gave to their company was for them to help me, and was not going to my lender for anything. After stating in an email I was not being charged for the modificiation.

This company is a fraud and all they do is scam people to get thier homes and money. Fortunately when I made my lender aware of the situation, they worked with me and I was able to save my home with them and their help. Others are not so furntuate.

I would really like to recover my money from them, but I'm sure that will never happen. Please do your research and be very careful when looking for parties to help you in these matters.

National Consume Resolution center sent me information in the mail about a government program that would help with a home modification to save me hundreds of dollars. With my wife being sick, and money be short we have fell behind a couple of months. I thought this was too good to be true, so I was cautions. It all sounded legit. As I went through the process they had me fill out mountains of paper work, preset private information, and said not to contact my bank. For four months I was required to send them $1028.05, which I thought was going to my bank as part of the modification. Well as my foreclosure came within a month, I decided it was time to take action. It seemed no one from there office was working my case. I called my bank and found that they had not uploaded needed documents. I then took action, luckily for my sake I did not wait like they told me too. I almost lost my home, I was able to work with my bank and get a modification.

Not near the amount they gave me when I was approved by Eric Holden, Dana Wright, or Amy Adams said. This is was a very hard pill to swallow, I gave them money, and they did nothing to save my home. To make it worse I was called by Dana Wright after I completed my paper work and she verbally abused me. She went on to say how stupid I was doing this and used scare tactics saying I was going to lose my home because I got involved. All and all I was lucky, I hope some reading this will not give them a dime. I wish company’s and the people that work for them have a special place in hell. I am sorry scamming people with sick loved ones, is really the definition of scum of the earth. I really have no idea how they sleep at night. I will be on a mission to blast them all over the internet if it is the last thing I do! My hope is a lawyer will bring a class action lawsuit against the company the employees for what they have done to me, and others that where Drowning and just looking for help. They prey on the desperate, and it is sad.

These crooks promised to reduce mortgage payments for a client. But first, they told her they needed money. Demanding money up-front is illegal. Client did not know that.

Home resolution center promised to get a mortgage modifiation for her and did not. They told her to send them $875.75 each month. She did that for 4 months. This scam even told her to stop making mortgage payments. She was not behind in payments until home resolution center told her to stop making payments.

Now these thieves will not answer phone calls from her. She cannot get her money back.

They claim to be in business for 3 years See bbb report). Loleni taufetee only incorporated it in january 2016! a lie this big proves they cannot be trusted. See doc #3862614, sec. Of state for california)

Lots of people get scammed like this. They are good people. They want to make their mortgage payments. They do not want to lose their homes. Home resoluton center is taking advantage of them in the worst way.

If anyone wants money from you before finishing their work - run the other way. It is illegal to demand money in advance for a mortgage modification.

I am filing complaints for her with the bbb, the california attorney general, outscam, of course, and the federal trade commission.

Do not give any money to anyone until they prove they got a modification for you. Check with your lender to make sure that the scammer is not lying.

Best to start out by contacting your lender and working with a local housing program Non profit) or call hud.
