Beware of buying from any Dog breeder who refuses to cover for serious genetic defects that could put you several thousands in debt due to a breeders bad breeding. It cost my friend a fortune to keep her dog alive as long as she could due to a serious genetic heart problem. Over a period of a fewyears she spent $$10,000$$ on a young Chihuahua with a hereditary enlarged heart with a hole in the wall.There were also other non fatal genetic defects in the same dog. If my friend had allowed her puppy to diein the first year, then this Breeder would have helped?
The dog did not die within the first year fromexcellent and expensive medical treatment. When the dog fianlly did die, any one year warranty was over.According to the policies of this breeder, If a 'lifetime" warranty had been bought for one thousand dollars, then after the death at age three, the customer would have been given 40 percent off another puppy. If you add in that the "life time" warranty costs of thousand dollars then that 40 percent off is greatly reduced to 25 percent off. No thank you! Vicious cycle. Genetic defect, breeder refusing help unless dog dies, customer stuck with several thousands of dollars in medical bills due to unethical breeding. This breeder is a joke

You can buy a well bred pup after healthy and proven lines and bred by a responsible and ethical breeder for much less than you’d pay for one of these sickly looking ones. Buyer beware as they’ll insist you sign a contract giving up your rights to refund of reasonable veterinary cost and your right to express your opinion on the breeder,the kennel and their pups.
