HobbyTron.com Reviews

I trusted world famous RC helicopters company, HobbyTron (hobbytron.com) to deliver the best. Instead, I was lead down a dark path of having my online identity stolen, my money taken, and sold top dollar products that were broken upon receipt.

As "the best" remote control helicopter and rc toy company online, HobbyTron (and other companies operated by World Tech Toys, Kev Kouyoumjian, AirSplat, World Trading 23, Inc, George Ziavras, Cody Sparks and others, I am shocked to see they have stolen the identities of thousands and thousands of social media accounts, most obviously on Instagram.

Airsoft guns, rc helicopters, and other toys sold by HobbyTron, Airsplat, and World Trading 23, Inc. are for kids and adults. Imagine the look on my sons faces when we unpacked our remote control helicopters from Hobbytron.com only to find that all 3 rc helipcopters were broken.

The first Hobbytron remote control helicopter had wiring that shocked my youngest son, resulting in a serious scare. My oldest son's RC copter from HobbyTron wouldn't even start, and mine came with almost all the chopper's blades broken. 3 different remote control toys in one order and all were broken in 3 different ways!

When I tried to get in touch via e-mail to HobbyTron, there was no response, so I tried to reach the World Trading 23, Inc. and Airsplat, as well as World Tech Toys, Inc. to absolutely no avail.

Save your money on RC and remote control helicopters, airsoft guns, and any other RC toys sold by any of these entities.

I had to learn my lesson the hard way, I'm just glad I didn't order the airsoft guns from Hobbytron as I had originally intended!

Several weeks after receiving my broken remote control copters with no response from HobbyTron, Kev Kouyoumjian, George Ziavras, Cody Sparks, or any other representative from Hobbytron RC Toys or any other of the companies owned by the Kouyoumjian brothers and family, I noticed my InstaGram account had been stolen by them! Upon attempting to log in, I had to reset my password.......only to find my username had been changed to "@rchelicoptersonline" and all my personal, dear, and private images had been erased by either Kev Kouyoumjian or someone at his behest.

These shameless and illegal sales tactics and identity theft by the owners and operators of World Trading 23, Inc. and Hobbytron, and likely Airsplat for children's rc cars, remote control vehicles, airsoft guns, and other remote control toys as well as airsoft guns and other rc toys is a travesty. I sincerely hope no one has been hurt, and if so, please respond; the shock my son endured should be punishable by law, but we cannot afford a lawyer. But if there were more of us, we could create a class action suit against HobbyTron and its parent company World Trading 23, Inc.

I hope this message reaches someone before they choose any rc helicopters, remote control toys, or airsoft toys from HobbyTron.com.

HobbyTron's customer service manager sucks! I can’t believe that just because we got rid of the shipping packaging (assuming, wrongfully of course that HobbyTron would be sending a product that WORKS) the warranty is void? For an item used FOUR times? Incredible and shame on Hobbytron! Furthermore I think she said the notation about ‘original packaging’ and voiding of the warranty was on the BACK of the paper (I don’t know as it was shipped to my grandson who is now on vacation.) WHY wouldn’t that notation be on the box, on the FRONT of the paper, EVERYWHERE?

I am really angry about this!

hello please contact customer service 8186759000 thanks

I purchased an M59 Magnum FPS-380 Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle for my grandson (Order 1145237, 07/15/15). He used it FOUR times and it doesn’t work. When he pulls the bolt back, it does not stay back….it just travels forward without assistance and the gun is not charged. When he repeats this it seems to load another Airsoft pellet. If he repeats the charging process several times, the bolt may finally stay in the rear position so he can push it forward and fire the gun at which time several Airsoft pellets will be discharged. The gun is obviously operating improperly. We know that the bolt should stay in the full back position until it is manually pushed forward to charge the gun. We need instructions on where to send the gun for repair or replacement. Note we have already said we no longer have the original box the gun came in.
