Ordered product from Dr Sinatra on 5/22/17. Mailed to company with order form and check. Supposedly the amount on the check was incorrect but was never contacted by the company. Called the company but they were unable to tell is how we were suppose to even pay the difference, so we asked just to have our money refunded back, which the check should have never been cashed if the amount was not correct. No call. No email, no notifation sent about the supposed error. Our check cleared the bank on 5/30/17.

I have called several times spoke to several differtent people and still getting the same results : THE RUN AROUND. Have been told the check was mailed that has been almost a month ago. I called the company asked for a corporate phone number and was advised to Google it that they did not have access to their corporate number they work for. This company is the biggest ripoff. All they do is get elderly people to buy their crappy stuff and spend hundreds of dollars. We just want our money back and we will for Sure never do business with this company ever again.

I ordered a product , "Omega Q plus with Resveratrol" from Healthy Directions (HD) online after seeing a 4 star rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) . After my problem started, I checked into the BBB rating, and the facts were: 89 complaints out of 91 reports. THAT’S NOT A 4 STAR RESULT. Who's doing the math, I wonder ? The problem I have is that HD has signed me up for automatic deliveries. I did not ask for automatic deliveries. Of course, that means they are also making automatic debits on my credit card number. On my first call of 6/24/17 (to 1-800-663-9737), Travis the rep promised to kill my account, erase my credit card number, and take me off the automatic delivery system. What he promised didn’t happen. I’m seeing another debit from HD for $19.99 (date : 7/6/17 ) on from my Visa account. I called back and talked to Dave, the rep, who tells me the 7/6/2017 debit to my credit card will be erased in a few days, and the automatic shipment of goods will be stopped. I told Dave that I was promised the same solution the last time I called. He said he would stop shipment, and remove my records. After seeing so many negative reports online, I have no faith that my problem is over with. On the upside, I've learned something invaluable for myself for the future. I will not trust the BBB star system. I'll read the reports myself, and do the math myself. And I will not trust any Doctor associated with Healthy Directions, so I have listed all their names.

In early-mid February I did a favor for a family member that doesn't have a bank card and purchased a product for them from this company in the amount of $39.99.

I didn't think anything of it until mid-March when the same charge of $39.99 was applied to my bank account a second time.

After logging into my account I discovered I had somehow been signed up for "auto-delivery" without my permission. "Auto-delivery" basically means a new product is delivered at the same time each month and your card is charged again.

I DID NOT sign up for this option. It was a one time purchase.

This is not the first time I've encountered sketchy auto-charges, so I went online to cancel the option.

Surprise, there is NO WAY to cancel online. Also, it said that my card information was not saved, so there is nothing to delete. However, the new shipment did show as having shipped, and the date matched the new charge on my card.

I called customer service after sending them several tweets and receiving tepid replies.

The lady on the phone pretended to be clueless about how this could have occurred, promised me a refund, and assured me I would be removed from "auto-delivery".

I remained skeptical for one reason though. She claimed that I coudn't be signed up for "auto-delivery" anymore because she had just removed my card from on file.

I explained that my card information wasn't on file before, because I checked my account. She played dumb, and I gave up, hoping for the best.

A few days later I received a $25 discount, short of the $39.99 they owed me. I tweeted them again, but was so frustrated I just gave up and considered it a win if they left me alone.

This month, a few days ago, the same charge of $39.99 appeared AGAIN. Even after repeated assurances on the phone last month, and after threatening them with legal action, they still left me on "auto-delivery".

That is why I am taking the action I am taking now. If there was any doubt before that I had overlooked something and this was perhaps my fault, it is gone now. These are scumbags and scam artists. Stay away from them.

I will have to cancel my bank account if they continue to charge me.

I received a lenghty brochure in the mail from Healthy Directions discussing melatonin use for sleep and advertising a time release melatonin capsule called Sleep Answer. The supplement was advertised to prevent early morning waking which has been a major problem for me for years.

On 8/9/16 I ordered a 6 month supply at a reduced rate and agreed to auto delivery every 6 month with the assurance that I could return the order for a full refund within 3 months and cancel auto delivery at any time.

The supplement did not work for me at all in spite of trying it for almost 2 months. I mailed the remaining supplements back on 10/4/16 and according to the Postal Service, the company received the return on 10/8/16. On 10/5/16 I started calling customer service to cancel autodelivery and to ask when I could expect a refund on my credit card. Over the next 9 days I spent a total of approximately 6 hours on hold, listening to canned music without talking to anyone. The folowing day I called the order number in the brochure and immediately spoke to a person. When I explained my problem, she told me she couldn't help me and hung up on me. I called back and insisted that someone deal with the issue. She told me she would take me off of auto delivery but could not tell me when to expect a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor, was connected and again explained. He told me he would take care of the auto delivery issue but did not know when a refund could be expected.

Today, 10/19/16, I called customer service and after 10 minutes, I hung up. I called the order number and again insisted that they listen to me. The woman told me that auto delivery had not been canceled and that she would take care of it. She then said she would transfer me to someone who could deal with the refund issue. Again, I was on hold and hung up after 10 minutes.

I do not believe that auto delivery has been canceled and I sill want to get my refund.
