Hampton Inn Reviews

This issue is self explanatory and does not require a fifth grade education to understand. It is not argumentative, it is the status quo bedrock and ingrained attitude of professionalism that has gone unchecked at THIS Hampton Inn. ALL the gatekeepers for Hampton did me supreme on June 2, 2023. I had attempted for two days to fly from Denver, CO but experienced setbacks from Southwest and a moving company. Therefore, I finally arrived on June 2, 2023 and checked in for a room at 02:30 a.m. History has taught me that business will ambush you at night with the poorest service they can offer. Yep, you read it right they really do not give a "F" about you because you are vulnerable. Some of them will try to sell you a bucket of "piss" if you buy it. Therefore, anyone would think that after traveling with three large travel bags, two smaller ones, a booster seat, and a five year old ALL you want is just a good night's sleep and please of mind. That is If you believe that the Easter Bunny is coming this Christmas or the sun will rise in the North and set in the South. You are about to READ the worst nightmare you can experience! I have always had high critical views of any company that you see with all high five star ratings and more. We all know that anyone can pay their friends to get a "A" rating from the BBB. If you are not familiar with the BBB companies pay a fee to be listed to advertise their name. Readers might not like what I have to say but I challenge you to review your thinking on ratings and detest any lies from any source about Hampton Inn. I am obligated to research before scrutinizing the actions of others. The fate of others can ultimately be in your hands for others when decisions are rendered for transactions. Upon entering the Hampton Inn room and was just about to JUST lay down after traveling ALL day I was greeted by a black spider. The spider was right at the lower headboard getting ready to strike. Time stood still as I pondered on the primrose path of words and quality that Hampton had advertised but did not deliver. I am sure as long as employees are being rewarded and well feed they don't give a "D" as long as they are being rewarded with their FAT paychecks They will continue to scavenge and pick your pockets like vultures as false advertisers. Now that I have pulled back the curtain exposing the great OZ IT'S LEFT UP TO YOUR CHOOSING! I paid $157.44 for false advertisement coming from fabricators and manipulators After reporting the spider issue I was assigned another room only to be challenged by the on duty check in clerk. He became hostile and I refused to become argumentative. I was assigned to Room 322 but still have to physically carry three large bags. two small ones, booster seat, and a kid. The Hampton Inn gatekeeper showed NO concern about the transactions of the bags. Professional customer service is expected to be rendered as a public servant. There is perhaps no valued and deeply cherished position than to provide that level of quality service. However, there are those that will push the boundaries for their self serving ways. They WILL push the boundaries and never be held accountable for their actions. Regardless of their intentions the decision rests on a fundamental reason as their adversity. As retired military, Hampton Inn is one of those that pushed their boundaries!

Knew my insurance company had extended my two rooms an extra week. This black girl deactivated my room keys to harass me in the front lobby nothing but racist white hating demon bigots. We were really harassed the whole time. Their lawn man would get grass all over my car. One night somebody violently pounded on my door.

My son did record her refusing to give me our room keys back and falsely accused me of being rude to her. Rude to her! She was the one who was harassing me and my son and refused to give me our room keys back until he started recording her.

She was jumping on me in front of all the other demons in the hotel. This maid who I complained about who walked into my room while I had the do not disturb sign on my door wanted to retaliate against me. She was watching the whole thing but I didn't care. I wasn't backing down.

There were mostly black females at the front desk and the marketing manager Shannon told me that they were overbooked and why they couldn't extend our rooms. When I got a text from my insurance company on 08/30/2022 that our rooms had been extended to 09/09/2022. They weren't overbooked.

Matthew Day is the general manager he is white. But he is job scared so he had to go along with their evil deed with what they did to me and my son about our rooms.

This is phenix city where they can be demons and thieves. But they can get away with stealing from people and the local businesses. Any business in phenix city that the police chief harasses like this one tire shop must have not gone along with something.

The police chief claimed they didn't comply with something which I don't believe. When they have it out for you they go full force in this town. But bad deceitful bad business practices like the Hampton in here in phenix city can get away with it.

Upon checking in to the Hampton Inn, I was told by front desk clerks that I would be charged a $50.00 each night deposit for incidentals, that would be refunded to me. I never received my deposit back.

Hilton Hotel Secrets at Lulu bookstore exposed the attack that happened at the hotel.

I am a HHonors Gold member and have been for several years. Booked an online reservation online on 1/15/16, 10 day stay starting 2/11 at Ormond Beach Hampton Inn, Confirmation #85568321. Unfortunately, I booked the wrong FL Beach Hampton. I could not cancel online due to the special event, it was past the canc window, reservation was 27 days in advance, normally there is a 24-72 hr canc period to avoid canc penalties. You would think that anytime the canc period deviates from norm, it would be CLEARLY noted.

Called hotel less 25 min from placing online reservation, advised of my mistake, was assured she would cancel with no penalty. I then booked for the same dates at the correct Hampton.

On 2/16 we were charged the full 10 days, 2,688.75. If I would have been told I would be charged the full stay, I would not have made an alternative reservation. Spoke with GM, who agreed to refund. After multiple documented conversations, attempts by GM to give credit, was told that Hampton Corp is not allowing the credit. But Hampton states it is the GM’s decision to make exceptions not them.

We would like a full refund but according the email confirmation, “Your reservation is guaranteed by a deposit of 268.88 that has been/will be charged to your credit card. Cancellations were required by 4PM on Dec 28, 2015 local hotel time. Because this time has already passed, your deposit is non-refundable.” Leads me to believe only 268.88 should have been charged, which would be easier to live with than the entire amount.

Despite this issue, we have stayed at a Hilton brand on 14 additional occasions since this incident. You would think that some loyalty to the Hilton brand would be honored, especially since we didn’t just cancel, we stayed at a different Hampton with the same dates.

As of today, have never heard from anyone. We go out of our way to book a Hilton brand, even so much that a couple of months ago, stayed at a Hampton which was approximately 25 minutes from our destination when there was a Holiday Inn within walking distance.
