He refused to pay me, and when I told him I would tell the police he laughed at me saying that his business was illegal. That the police wouldn't do anything since it was an illegal business. That night his wife called me and said that my loan would be rejected if I kept complaining, and that they might "lose" my social security number on the internet. So that people could steal my identity.
My best friend googled them and found that Scott Tatum's real name is Robin Scott Tatum. A lot of people have sued him in the Dallas area for fraud, bad debt, and breach of contract. We also found court cases where both of them have been sued for all sorts of other bad things, and bad customer reviews of Guild Mortgage.
Then we found Scott's mugshot and criminal record online. He is a convicted felon. He's been to jail abunch of times.
These are bad people. They are bullying me and have ripped me off. I don't know what to do. I called the Better Business Bureau and will call the police after I speak with an attorney.
I don't have a lot of money so finding a good attorney is hard.
