I walked into the place and I was greeted by the Marketing Manager. I had to ask and digg about the pay. It said on Indeed that the pay would be 12-18 an hour. It turnes out it depends on how many appointments youve set that day or week.
In my so called interview I was not asked many questions neither was there a hiring process. He told me right away to fill out the W4 form and start tomorrow. That already was very suspicious to me.
There were a total of 7-8 people in the building and very unprofessional. Ive heard cursing and faul talk, one emplyee was dancing while assisting a customer on the end of the line.
They sat me down to listen to exactly nine recording of real-life recordings. When i got to the third recording I realized that this was the third person that was above the age of 75 years old and under 80 and retired. then i just skippped to the last 6 recordings and all the others were the same. So I really got the idea that they might be scamming the elderly.
Then I paused one recording to hear a all live. The guy followed the script and then let the manager close the deal. The manager then hung up after confirming the appointment and told the young man "He's no good." the young man replied "why?" he says "Hes already 91" so i was like wow.......
and the last thing i heard him say was "put him on the No CALL list"
So for whoever sees the add on indeed about appointment setting I highly suggest to go with a non Scamming Employer.
