The white/black van/suv scam is nationwide. 2 well dressed man drive up to you and say that they need to unload a $3000 stereo system to you because they have a surplus and they are willing to slash the price just for you. "Granger Bessel is the best stereo system you can buy with 1000 watts of power in 7.2 Dolby surround sound". "Make me an offer".
At this point, you should photograph their license number and report them to the police as what they are doing is illegal. Confront them and report their license number to put a stop to the white van scam.
A guy approaches me and my husband leaving a restaurant. He was a passenger in a Tahoe SUV. He Asks if we are interested in a brand new theater systems with a projector and a sound bar. We were intrigue he says he got it as a gift and they retail for 1400. He said he will let it go for $400. We were like no. We were about to pull off . Then driver goes we got it for free so we will work with you. He Asks my husband how much he could offer my husband said $100 bucks he said $120 just to cover some beers. Long story short package was brand new with seals. Speakers were inside seemed to be official but trust they are not. They are duds that do not work. This was truly a rip off. I called the 800 number that I found on their fake website. It goes to a survey. Buyers please beware!

On Christmas Eve I was filling air in my tire of a local Sunoco Station when a fellow in a cement/tan conversion van approached me with an offer to buy a Granger Bessel Surround Sound system! Being in the Christmas spirit I offered him $ 20 just to go away...then he begins to show me $ 100 dollar bills and pitching tho me that he has been selling these $ 3249.00 sytems at 50% off... To make a long story short...nice guy that I am gives the piece of **** $ 140 just to get rid of him basically... When I get home and open the box all the components are broken and missing parts! Now at this point I realize I got royally screwed by someone I was trying to help! So the moral of the story, never buy **** from Crooked Scum Bags who have no other agenda than to rip you off! My hope is that others reading this will have a laugh at my stupidity, but more importantly alert the police when you are approached by Scum of the Earth like this!
I haven't opened my new 300$ Bluetooth sound bar and sub woofer, and it doesn't look like I need to. Serves me right for dealing with scumbags. I think there is a lesson to be learned here....

I told him only have a $100, after going back and forth a couple time he sad OK if he didn't them sale them someone else in his company would do the same.
A guy pulled up to my husband at the parking lot of a shopping center, where their is a Jerry's.he said he has some extra new equipment home theater speakers, screens and all that and he said he needs to get rid of it real quick he even showed my husband the back of the box which, said MSRP 3,200 something he said I can let it go for 400.00 and my husband thought it was a good deal, but I guess he's not a negotiator and he got scammed the s*** is fakeeee

Shows me wad of hundreds from other sales but it's getting late he has to meet his boss.....he will take $200. Got home and no instructions. Looked up the system on google and saw the scams. I feel like an idiot. I didn't realize thieves could put together such excellent packaging. Bluetooth woofer doesn't connect to sound bar but they both lite up lol!! Even the remote lites up. But no connection to tv. Box is exactly as pictured on scams on lines!! I Wish I could find him and smash his freaking jaw!!!

We are in Fresno, CA. I get home from work and there are brand new home theater boxes in my garage along with a projector and screen. I was surprised to say the least. So my dad tells me he walks out of the grocery store and is approached by a guy selling this equipment. Everything for $300 he says so of course he couldnt pass it up. I found it to be to good to be true so I looked up the company online and discovered all the scam stuff. Needless to say I need to teach my dad if its too good to be true, it probably is.
My husband was approach by a white guy saying he need to sell the granger bessel that there was left over and that the system cost $3,000.00 and he just need $200 and my husband told him he could only do $150 and the guy said it was fine. Now am trying to sell it but no ones wants it. He was scamed out of $150.00
