Shady as the Amazon forest

My business phone is spammed nonstop from these people. I didn't know it was them because only a few of the texts they send would repeat from the same numbers. Usually it's a handful of spoofed numbers each and every day. After approximately 2000 of these (not exaggerating) where I am supposed to reply 1 if interested and 3 if not, I finally replied 1 to about 20 of them. The same message popped up after that on about a dozen of them. I assume the other ones expired since I got no answer from them. The message was "Great! We're Smith, we connect you with homeowners that need projects done. It's always free to view project details. Reply 1 to get started, 2 to learn more." In my efforts to get this crap to stop I replied 1. Then it sends me a text to call them about a lead. If you call it tells you that you need to purchase credits to get the lead they offered. After doing some research I found quite a few people disgruntled with them. Cannot seem to get a live person to find out why it was necessary for them to spam me with so many texts from so many spoofed numbers. Most (but not all) referral services aren't worth the time it takes to delete their spoof attempts and this one is no exception. If enough people contact the appropriate agencies to report them hopefully these scammers can be stopped

Gosmith opened a website using my company name and personal name. The website has none of my contact information, instead it diverts potential business to others using a referral based 80.00 per referral. I have no contract and have never been contacted by an agent of gosmith. Theft and infringement on my company, personal name and income, is the complaint.

Company is expert at selling fake leads to multiple companies compay sells premium leads to a small handfull of companies such as Sears and Lowes. As a contractor Inwas mot even offered leads 500 feet from our office The company agents can not explain where the customers come from. The company never shows up on any searches for contractors They require 48.00 for a lead has been sold to numerous contractors each at $48.00. We tested the company with customer work requests .Our company necer received a real lead despite meetimg all of the requirements.Jist like Thumbtack Angies List now owned by Home Advisor . All of these companies get away with stealing money and then shut down and surface as new compamies . Keep your money and advertise on Google Facebook or Craigslist these companies will continue to steal from anyone foolish enough to try their scam.

total Scam

Was getting leads from Go Smith, had to keep buying credits. Nothing would come back from "customer". After 50 "bad" leads, got one for a home wanting three bathrooms remodeled. It just happened that the address for a home I had done work in already. It did not have three bathrooms, it only had two, and the owner, whom I knew had never heard of GoSmith. It was total fraud.

I called gosmith, no answer. I emailed gosmith, no response. I requested a credit for the 8 credits I had purchased for the lead, and my account was suspended for asking for the refund.

Total Scam.

GO SMITH is a scam written all over it, they are supposed to provide leads at 7.00 a lead, their leads are 98% fake I both 10 leads for 70.00 I am down to 7 leads and I haven't serviced any customer, they wouldn't credit the leads, the give leads for the wrong field and they want you to accept the lead so they can charge you without actually see what's in the lead, I had a lead that was a sears customer who has a service contact with sears, he was very upset that I called him. And they sell a lead to other few companies at the same time,And now I asked for my money back, they wouldn't return my calls all messages. Stay away fro these theives.
