Gold Eagle Express, Inc. Reviews

  • Jul 3, 2018

I ordered one package that consists of 4 things for $1297. I received zero of the items I ordered. I’ve been refused a refund and threatened with a new debt of $12,970. Since they won’t provide a refund, they need to at least be stopped from being able to pursue and threaten: “This case will be challenged and then sold to collection lawyers and you can deal with them from here on out,” stated in an email sent from the owner.

CONSUMER BEWARE, IN FACT STAY AWAY ALTOGETHER.

I informed the representative (Michael) I did not need “credit repair”, I just have things that truly do not belong to me, places I’ve never visited much less lived, plus an engorged medical bill and the bureaus won’t remove them. He then told me, their company does not “dispute” because you can’t dispute when items are accurate. What I ordered doesn’t say “dispute” but the website has “dispute” all over it. I just didn't use common sense, didn't listen to my gut. Told him it sounded great, once I see the work, I’ll order additional services and send referrals. Everyone knows someone who needs this kind of help. I was informed they could get started today, so I hurried and went over the Agreement, I ignored the numerous misspellings, I ignored the middle school grammar, I ignored the blatant fact the Agreement was cut and paste from various sources, and sent my payment.

I ordered their $1297 PACKAGE which includes: 15-30 Day NEG Sweep, $1k-$5kTradeline, and Rapid Re-Scoring. I was also supposed to have access to an online community which I never received. They have provided 0 of the 4 items AND NOW THEATEN ME WITH A $12,970 DEBT.

I contacted them at the 10-day, 15-day, 30-day, 45-day, and 60-day mark. To no avail. Just constantly being told they are working on it. I asked for a refund more than once and was ignored.

Nowhere on their agreement, their website or anywhere online does it state that their services are rendered in “business days” everything clearly states 15 to 30 days. Even still, 60 days is well over the 30 business-day mark. This is only communicated over the phone and after the services were supposed to be due.

At the roughly 50-day mark, I received a letter from the bureau stating they have verified the debt. I thought it was removing an item. Even at that point I requested a prorated refund for 1 of 5 items being removed. Because again this is not what I ordered but I see they tried to do something. This is not what is in the Agreement. Then I read the letter again and realized it was not going to be removed, it was verified and staying put. So I again requested a full refund.

Shortly after, I received notices from the bureaus indicating they refuse to investigate and we were now at twice the length of time advertised that’s when I’m finally informed they are doing credit repair. “Disputes take time.” Nope, I went to my bank and asked my options. I was informed my card would be cut up, I’d get a new card in 10 days, etc. I told them, rather than dealing with the hassle of redoing all of my auto pays, let me try one more time for a refund. I reached out again, asking for an amicable resolve. Nothing but threats and I suggested let’s actually talk, instead of email and we set up a call for the following week. I was advised to give them my new user name and password, if I wanted a “productive call.” I informed I would not do that until we see where we land at the end of the call.

Again, I did not change my username and password to the credit bureau thereby revoking their access until around the 60-day period. Anything and everything should have been completed by that time, NOT just getting started. And apparently, they aren’t even doing what they set out to do. I feel this was pure bait and switch.

Further, their agreement says they are not credit repair (“Client understands and agrees GEE is NOT a Credit Repair Service”) which is great because I did not request credit repair, nor did I agree to credit repair; and therefore, since that is what they said they were doing, I again requested a refund.

Their own Agreement, the last thing you read as a consumer states (page 5 of 6, item 9):

9.) GEE guarantee’s. We offer a full money back guarantee if the terms above are met. We guarantee that you will have cleaner credit after the process is done. GEE guarantees to replace or refund a Client if the cardholder account exceeds 30% balance on any Tradeline.

It seems as though they throw around the word “guarantee” a lot and it means nothing. According to the FTC lawsuit,

“The defendants' electronic mail advertisements have included income guarantees…”

They even have a Delivery Guarantee 100% badge on their website. I informed Mr. Reed on a recorded call, I am going to initiate a "dispute" with my bank based on your seemingly fraudulent behavior. I have not been added to any accounts by your own admission and by your own admission, I did not request what you are doing. Therefore, I am entitled to my money back. I will provide all correspondence, my credit reports, your website, your Agreement, and the phone records. And the bank can decide. Be advised, per your Agreement, page 5 of 6, item 7:

7.) Client agrees and confirms that client will not attempt any chargebacks or reversal of payment once they are added as an authorized user or any services requested by Client.

The key phrase being, “once they are added as an authorized user or any services requested by Client.”

They refuse to provide any evidence of their work but became angry when I terminated their access to my credit report at 60 days when it was advertised as, and I signed the paperwork stating a ‘15-30 day’ service.

I then get an email from D***** Reed, who is the CEO and President, (highlighting everything but the first sentence) and who again was also charged by the FTC in a former business for consumer fraud, stating:

Mrs *********.,

Please read as we WILL enforce it to the fullest extent of the law. You are doing nothing more than committing consumer fraud.

You purchase our services under false pretenses, knowing full well that after the service was rendered you would simply call your back and charge back our services. That’s why we have been lock out of your credit profile all of a sudden. Your threats below mean nothing, we will proceed as soon as our bank notifies us of the chargeback.

Its regretful, but our industry rife with this type of mentality which explains why their credit profiles are in the shape they are in. In many cases refusing to pay their bills and seeking shortcuts such as charging back for valid services.

Please review, these are the terms you have agreed to abide by and will be in default of with your fradulant chargeback:

7.) Client agrees and confirms that client will not attempt any chargebacks or reversal of payment once they are added as an authorized user or any services requested by Client. Client also hereby states that he/she is authorized to make this purchase. Client to provide ID and SSN. Client hereby authorizes GEE to collect ten times the face amount of this order form / agreement for any default of this agreement and further authorizes GEE to report any negative activity to any and all credit reporting agencies including placing liens of personal or business assets to cover the default. Client agrees there is no other written or verbal agreement that override these terms and conditions as stated herein. Client agrees and acknowledges that GEE does not promise or make any representation as to credit scores as a result of any purchase , consulting or service outlined herein. Client agrees that GEE made take collection action immediately upon receipt of any chargeback notice from its merchant services.

This case will be challenged and then sold to collection lawyers and you can deal with them from here on out.

No need to communicate with us any further.

The same way the email above reads, so does the Agreement they claim a lawyer prepared. Let’s face it, IF they performed the service, and provide additional services, who would attempt a chargeback and jeopardize the work that was just provided. Instead you would pay them even more money to provide the additional services. It makes absolutely no sense. The claim is absurd. Not to mention, how is 30 plus emails and 2x the past due date of delivery ‘all of a sudden’? You request a refund when a refund is due.

THE UNCOVERED FACTS:

There is no such thing as “National Board Of Credit Education (NBOCE)” as shown on their website. It only appears on the whole internet (as of the date of this) on their website.

They are not FICO Pro Certified – again just made up.

Delivery Guarantee 100% - is 100% False

A Patent search for Gold Eagle, Credit Wealth Express, and/or ERR TRUST all end up in “No Results Found.” A patent search for D**** Reed as inventor pulls up a patent granted to a D*** Reed in MI in 1984 for a “Fish Detecting System.” That’s Michigan, not California or Nevada. So, don’t be fooled by their misleading “Patent Pending” it also does not exist. No trademark on their ‘proprietary’ service either.

D*** says they’ve been at this for 20 years, but the website domain name was registered 13-Apr-2015 to ERR Trust using D*** Reed as contact.

There is no credit community. You will not be provided a username or login or link to join. However, the Agreement is “Gold Eagle Express Community Membership Agreement.”

Go back and look at their website history, 2016 they were Credit Repair, 2017 they were Credit Repair, and even though it doesn’t say on their site in 2018 they are still operating as credit repair.

D***ian Reed aka D***ion Reed is the CEO, President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Director and again in his prior endeavor debunked by the FTC he attempted to hide and portray himself as a just a "Marketing Advisor."

Gold Eagle Express, Inc., is a

“Worldwide bullion dealer with a brand new ways to purchase gold, silver, platinum and palladium.”

Turns out if you go to goldeagleexpress.com, which is their website of you will find it redirects to sraaplan.com/. That site claims for as little as $100 per month, “you purchase precious metals like professionals.”

It also claims their new Gold Eagle Express SRAA™ Plan is trademarked. It is not, SRAA is trademarked by a different organization in Pennsylvania. Another site linked on the SRAA Plan site also links to payroll2gold.com/pr/index.php?route=common/home another Gold Eagle Express site that allows states,

“Simple retirement accumulation account lets you purchase precious metals like professionals. For as little as $25.00 a month saving plan, all products securely held in the vaults of world. Renewed depositories in your name, spouse name, children or grand children as you direct. Cash out at anytime or just have the physical product shipped!”

It appears, their intent all the long has been to:

mislead their service,

force consumer to chargeback by not doing the work (doing what they want when they want and claiming they are working hard) and refusing to refund,

then selling off to collection lawyer for 10x the face value. Which even at selling for 20-30% of the new inflated amount turns out to be 2x-3x the amount they originally charged you the consumer.

Somehow D*** Reed, Golden Eagle Express, Inc. and Credit Wealth Express think that if you order a grass-fed steak, and they deliver the grass then tell you to wait for the steak, you should be ok. How long should I wait for them to provide the 15-30-day service? Was 60 days not long enough? Pure BAIT AND SWITCH.

They need to be stopped. The A+ on the BBB is misleading. They are not licensed as a Credit Service Organization in Nevada, or any other state. They aren’t even licensed to do business in my state.

Maybe in my case, I must bite the $1297 costs because I should have studied for the exam and did my homework first. I settled for the cliff notes when I found no negative reviews, I found an A+ rating, and that is my fault. I was also a bit forgiving thinking I was dealing with an employee. Turns out I’ve been dealing the owner, the entire time. Don’t let it be too late for you too! When you think of any of these business names, remind yourself of that contact commerical with the song Don't Do It, Don't Do It, Don't Do It... Oh!!!

Beyond Reviews

Now I see why they have no negative reviews, they strongarm and threaten people into submission. After all, how many people needing help want to end up tens of thousands in additional debt? The FTC hit it on the head when they stated about the Reeds, “purchasers seek a refund, the defendants do not provide a full refund of the purchasers’ investment.”

I see now, the original government statement holds true,

“Consumers in many areas of the United States have suffered substantial monetary loss as a result of defendants' unlawful acts or practices. Absent equitable relief by this Court, defendants are likely to continue to injure consumers and harm the public interest.”

What they are doing is wrong ANY AND EVERYONE else needs to BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS. The courts had it right to deny their appeal,

“We deny the Reeds’ motion seeking to stay the appeal and to remand the case to the district court. We dispense with oral argument because the facts and LEGAL CONTENTIONS are adequately presented in the materials before the court and argument would not aid the decisional process.” ca4.uscourts.gov/Opinions/Unpublished/991883.U.pdf

In this case look at their lack of reviews, the same as lack of credit or no credit. In most cases, someone with no credit faces the same uphill battle as someone with bad credit. If you are threatened with being charged 10x the face value of the agreement, would you complain?

The bottom line: I ordered one package that consists of 4 things for $1297. I received zero of the items I ordered. I’ve been refused a refund and threatened with a new debt of $12,970. HOPEFULLY THEIR A+ STATUS IS REVOKED. Since they won’t provide a refund, they need to at least be stopped from threatening and pursuing: “This case will be challenged and then sold to collection lawyers and you can deal with them from here on out.”

The Homework –

Here is the full picture. Had I done this first, I wouldn't be here right now. Hope it helps you make an informed decision.
