Beware of this company! It is a horrible rip-off! Do Not purchase hop on hop off bus tour tickets from them!
They have sales people in green vests everywhere over-selling the tickets for their tour busses. We were approached outside of Grand Central Station. We were sent to a certain location to wait for the next bus. We were told that busses would stop every 15 minutes to pick us up for our tour. We waited over an hour and watched as two of the their busses passed us by and did not stop for us. Someone on the street told us they don't stop if they are full...
We watched as other tour bus companies stopped and picked up passengers often and regularly, so after waiting so long and being short on time, we purchased another set of tickets for one of the other tour busses and got right on to enjoy a tour of the city on the Open Loop Tour Bus. We figured that surely we'd be able to get a refund from the GO NY Tour company since their busses were full and our wait was much too long.
When I contacted GO NY Tours for a refund, explained the situation, and they argued with me that their busses were plentiful and on time all day! And they refused to give me a refund!
So because of GO NY Tours incompetence, thievery, and deceptions, I ended up having to pay double in order to get a tour of New York City. This company should have given us a refund and they should not be in business!
