Well, it clearly is obvious who is on which side of business (management vs employee) based on other comments. I also am a former employee of gcs and worked there for a considerable amount of time (which in reality, really is not that long but we are talking about a questionable business here) and am relieved to see the amount of distress that others also felt by working here, because at times I felt alone like I was the only one with a conscious....or maybe nobody wanted to address the "pink elephant in the room" that every time we scammed somebody we were a worse person than the moment before.

The reality of the business practices and treatment of employees is very sad and I attest to what other employees have said about it 100%. They absolutely prey on felons and delude to you false promises of making at least "$15/hour" and quick opportunities to move up in the company, or that's at least what I was told, I'm not a felon. My experience working there was so interesting that it could have been made into a movie, let's just say it was quite the emotional roller coaster.

First of all, the owner is an immoral psychopath who thinks his own s*** doesn't stink, but at least he owns it. I would have said successful psychopath, but at the looks of it looks like gcs is going nowhere fast, wonder how that happened. It's true about the wheel and I was also present with the ketchup packet "reward". Shocking ripping off your employees and consumers is not sustainable. It was dehumanizing to have to dehumanize other people. The people that tended to fall prey to this bs were poorer or elderly, possible demented, people that do not have the income for the reoccurring 89.99 charges of a product that probably has 10% of the active ingredient and filled with all types of fillers/binders (but don't blame gcs for this one, really the FDA needs to have better regulation on supplements, GRAS is not sufficient enough because if they don't, outsourcing companies like GCS pop up and ASSIST in screwing consumers over).

Like a previous employee mentioned, there really were a lot of good hearted people that worked there (as well as ones that would probably sell their grandmas) that did want to piece their lives back together and i don't know which pisses me off more, the fact that there's people willing to take advantage of these honest working people or the fact that once you are labeled a felon you are screwed here on out for the rest of your life for little opportunities of say, a job you might actually enjoy and feel good about. And I would respect this company for hiring felons if they treated them right, it's not the fact that they hire felons that bothers me (the ones who weren't coming to work drugged up that is), I’m all about forgiveness, but it's that you exploit them, including management! Wake up and smell the watered down coffee, who really is the criminal here? I don't know if you think it's funny or cute but in actuality it's pretty pathetic.

Most of what I learned about this company came from time and experience of working there. In fact, customers were the ones who gave me the best insight. The events would play out like this: 1. I'd charge there card 2. the charges wouldn’t go through 3. I'd tell them to contact their bank to authorize the charges (obviously blocked for a reason) and I’d call them back in 10 4. I'd call back and they'd be irate 5. I become confused 6. They told me their bank had reports of this company running scams or the initial trial charge of $2.99 was a whopping $109.99 or something 7. I become sick to my stomach. One time a lady asked me why Wal-Mart popped up on her caller id when I called, honestly what type of rebuttal could I possibly say back to that to not make it seem as fishy as it was?

The reason so many of us could never make commission or more than the hourly wage was because 30% - 40% of the time we had a sale, it was blocked by the banked. The reason many stayed longer than we had to, despite being a felon or not, is the mutual respect and friendships we built with other CO-WORKERS even management, (excluding the owner and possibly hiring manager), who for the most part I’d say were relatively decent people, but certainly not because we give a d**n about making your shiesty company money. Ha "Money", wasn't that like the motto? Money for who by the way? Can't be me, must be "money" for YOU. I probably got slighted on so many paychecks that had I done the right thing and kept track, I would sue your assess off.

But what do you care, I'm just one of your very few "few" disgruntled employees, right?
