I returned a pair of glasses that I purchased for $88 dollars. I had gone on business travel prior to receiving the glasses and was not able to try them on for about two weeks. I requested the return immediately and they sent a return slip. After I had sent in the glasses they informed me that it was past their 14 day exclusion. Glasses USA not only refused to refund my purchases but they also did not send the glasses back to me.

I am now out $88 without the product I purchased.

Contacted 4 times for return authorization. Stonewalled and redirected to an inoperable web page. Several phoney names signed to the (form) emails. So-called "service" centers are supposedly in New Jersey. Total rip-off. I'm contacting my credit card company today. Have already submitted a complaint with the attorney general of New York.

STAY AWAY FROM GLASSES USA.

I proved that they lost my glasses in the US mail because they shipped via USPS. My first pair I love, and I refuse to be partial to being able to see better and getting complimented on my glasses. However, I am going to have my eye doctor put them to the test also. The deception is in their false claims of customer satisfaction. All said and done, they could care less in my opinion. If they would have just sent the second pair Fed Ex as they did the first; my bi-focals would not be lost. I offered to buy a second pair after trying to find my non-exisant sales rep. It all started with me not being able to fill out the Online form right and my calling and speaking to the woderful part playing sales rep named Morty. Morty was so re-assuring, I even emailed a compliment on his servce before I recieved one of the two pair.

The second pair, or the bi-focals came from a differnt lab, per Morty. They never showed up and Morty never replied to my emails. Astoundingly, I felt had, and agry because of the care-less hap-hazzard attitudes of the GlassesUSA representitives that followed. I was litterally, caught off-guard because I never spoke to a customer inconsiderately or uncompassionately during my 10 years of customer care. I've earned an AA, BSEB, and an MPA. Now, I am a consumer watch dog, and I only tell the truth. This comany knows the law well because they can claim the order was completed over the phone when it started with the internet. Their customers unknowingly take all the risk and do most of the ordering and shipping detail. This is how I know that I am right. The first pair of glasses shipped as requested, FED EX. The second pair was lost because I'm fortuneate enough to live accross the street from the beach at a resort that does not have US mail boxes; therefore, Morty and I reached an agreement that the glasses would ship FED EX.

Legally, they may have me. Financialy, it is not worth it to me to persue an amount under 200 dollars. When I think of the sales this review will blow; that's priceless to me. They can have their glasses and I never want to speak or hear their name again. Perhaps in a couple of weeks I'll provide another poor review elswhere if I don't recieved the money or the glasses. I will be certain to have my vision checked and return them per their policy also. I don't believe I will wear them though. I was only trying to save time and money by going to GlassesUSA, and hope others head this warning. GlassesUSA talks the talk but does not walk the walk. In fact, they are very un-American for some strange reason.

I ordered glasses from glassesUSA on July 22, 2015. When they did not show up in the timeframe promised, I requested that the order be cancelled and my money be refunded. This request was made well within the 90-day period. Each time I called their representative for a status, they asked me to be patient that my order was being processed. Again, I said I no longer want them…I just want a refund. I also told their representative on the phone that if they insisted on sending them after I requested that the order be cancelled, I would send them back. That is exactly what I did when they showed up in September 2015. So, now they have the glasses and my $253.00. They stretched it out just long enough to exceed the 90-day return policy.

I am very dissatisfied with the service not only did it take a very long time to receive my glasses I received my glasses with scratches on the lens missing the polarized lens tint and UV and scratch protection that I paid for. I tried to contact customer service which hung up on me several times, then when i finally get through im caller number 28. the automated sesystem says to emails if I need to return an item I don't know how long that's going to take for them to respond back to my email. when a person order glasses they obviously need the glasses as soon as possible for their vision but this company don't seem to think so the customer service sucks I am very very disappointed with this company and I refuse to refer any of my family members or friends to buy from this company. I sent the email now I have to wait for a response and then wait for them to receive the glasses then wait for them to return the glasses and hope and pray that they return the glasses exactly the way that I requested and paid for. my prescription was not a difficult prescription it was very simple single vision added polarized tent with UV and scratch protection very simple. before I place the order I ask are the employees that's working on the glasses actually licensed they said yes. I highly doubt it. I suggest you never use this company at all its too time consuming, zero customer service, and they clearly dont know what they are doing. How does glasses with scratch protectant come with scatches? Dont waste your time or money. Very dissatisfied customer.

Horrible company! You will be on hold for at least an hour with customer service. I've already sent my glasses back twice and the i still can't see out of my glasses. How hard is it for them to get a prescription right? My doctor sent them the prescription. I'm so frustrated and just want a refund so I can order glasses from a legitimate business.
