Scam

I am filing a report with the Attorney General's Office, I put a call into my local office's Consumer Fraud Division to see where to file because they are a bait and switch scam, I live in NYS, they ship from Florida but list Corporate Offices in North Carolina. I have sent and received half a dozen emails from them, obviously they don't think I am serious about exposing them for what they are.

Do not order this product. They will tell you that the sample is 4.95 plus 3.00 for handling. They do not send you the sample, they instead ship you sirum and cream and charge your credit card for 109.00 and 103.00 on two separate charges. I call and they reimbursement terms are that I ship the product back at my expense, and they will take out 20.00 for their return handling!! This is a fraudulant company and a complete rip-off. They are making a lot of money knowing people will call and send the product back, and they are making 3.95, plus 3.00 and 20.00 = 26.95 per person.

Scam Skin Scientific

Yes, I had a similar thing happen....I ordered it and then cancelled within the 14 day trial period. I called to cancel and they had already charged my credit card....and the customer service rep gave me a RMA # to send the product back and get a refund which I never got. I recently sent them an email with this information and the RMA# and they sent me an email saying all sales are final....when that was not the agreement...and the customer service rep told me to send the product back she never said all sales are final and I was within the 14 days of the trial period anyway....this is definitely a scam......and illegal....

Skin Scientific BIG scam

They foul you to buy the product I paid 24.99 plus shipping and handling. When I checked my bank account they charged two times 89.92 and 89.90. Called them and they said my two weeks trial was over and that they were charging me a full price for canceling the order, told them I was not interested and that I could return the creams/lotion they said no, they don't accept returns, when I told the rep. I would write a very good report she offered to refund me $30.32, I took it cuz $179.00 was already down the drain. Complaint to my bank whom said since I authorized the first purchase it would be very hard to get my money back, since they say they have an agreement that I would paid the full price if I cancel, which I never saw. The Rep said it was in the fine print, which I never saw/read

SCAM Read the fine Print

I fell for the same scam and am out of money I cannot afford to lose. They hide the cancellation fact in fine print and it is not on the "free shipment" invoice. I do not want to do business with a company that feels it is okay for them to prosper by taking advantage of people.

On 9/20 I ordered a free trial of serum & skin cream. I was told the only charges would be for S/H, $4.95 & $4.99 which I charged on my credit card. There was no other information on their website re: additional charges. On 10/03 I was charged an additional $89.92 for skin cream & on 10/04 an additional $89.90 for serum. On 10/26 I contacted customer service & #251 Natasha told me since I did not return the products within 14 days I was being charged the full amount & I was automatically registered for recurring deliveries. I informed her this information was not clearly evident on their website & she referred me to another long website name which I could not locate. I informed her I did not want any additional products from this company.

Dr.Oz???

With all my intelligence, I was mislead by the Skin Scientific's advertisement connecting Dr. Oz and Kate Middleton to that company. Stupid me! Just wanted to do something nice for myself.

When I got to their website and orderd promised "samples" and couldn't do any review or changes, I became suspicious. I went online and discovered the Get Skin Scientific Reviews on www.outscam.com. They scared me! Then I immediately called my credit card and made arrangements for stopping the payment. Unfortunately, there should be an "investigation," but at least I am not responsible for the payment to Skin for 60 days until the investigation is over.

The other thing that worried me: the Skin Company send me an email informing me that they will send me products every 30 days after charging my card.

I guess I will have to change my account.

Skin Scientific Terrible Customer Service-DO NOT ORDER

I mistakenly got caught up in thinking I could just get a trial order. Once I received an "automated shipment" I returned it immediately and was told, no problem I would receive a full refund. He tried very diligently to reduce the price so I would keep the product but I had no interest in keeping it and so returned it and waited for my full refund. Next month instead of a refund, I have 2 new charges for their product. I plan to continue to pursue my refund, "supervisor Becky #138" tried to tell me that it was on the website. I explained that it was not on any of their paperwork so I expect them to refund my money!!

They've changed

All of you reporting has seemingly changed their behavior. I cancelled before they 14 day trial was up and had no problem. I had contacted them about a mistake I made in my initial order and was told then to be sure to cancel before a certain date. When I called, they did try to offer me the product for a cheaper $ amount but I declined. They also agreed to send me an email verifying the cancellation, which they did and I intend on keeping it just in case.

That said, I love this product. I work in the skin industry and have tried many products and Skin Scientific has caused a huge change in my skin. It's very noticeable and I intend on continuing to use it but have found a cheaper place to buy it. I've been getting compliments on my skin.

Skin Scientific - Biggest SCAM I've Ever Experienced

I too purchased their 'trial' and unfortunately did it by using my mobile phone. The terms and agreement were never made clear. I was never mailed or emailed anything that led me to believe that they would charge my account what they did. Any legitimate business offering a subscription will make their terms and conditions clear. I simply received a 'packing slip' with each delivery that had no contact or billing information. Today I was finally able to get someone on the phone and they agreed to refund charges for June, but they would only refund 75% of the charges from May and would do nothing for the April charges (which was the biggest part of the scam). The customer service rep also would not budge from letting me talk to someone else and explained that she was the floor manager. To make matters worse, I also recently learned that they fraudulently used Barbara Corcoran (from Shark Tank) to endorse their product. Dr. Oz and Barbara exposed this on his show. https://www.consumerhealthdigest.com/health-news/dr-oz-barbara-cororan-confront-online-skin-cream-scammers.html. DO NOT PURCHASE these products. It is a nightmare that I'm still trying to resolve.
