I bought a Garrett safety pool cover from Budds Pools because it was promoted that it had a 20 year warranty and it was produced to the highest standards. I was sold this cover and told that the warranty was for any issues that would arise as long as it was not holes or rips in the panels that I caused.
I had the cover installed by the pool company. It was on the pool for two years and not removed. I was not in good health for last summer and that is why it was never removed. This year when it was removed and sent to be repairs because the straps strectched and came apart> Garrett DECLINED the warranty even though the panels are just fine. It is the straps that came apart and this is CLEARLY warranty.
When a company offers a warranty that is limited--- and STILL declines to honor it, this is FRAUD and the company must not be allowed to get away with it. DO NOT USE A GARRETT POOL COVER or buy one! They will not honor the warranty and they will rip you off.....
