We sent august cornell, the owner of framefixers.com a pair of vintage glasses months ago, the early part of 2019, to fix the legs of the glasses. We have left multiple emails, voicemails, etc, to get the status of if the glasses were repaired, when would they be returned to us and how much do we owe.
He either does not repsond, or he lies and says he will call and he never does. I am thankful, no money has been exhanged. I want the glasses back asap, but i am afraid we will never see them again. The glasses were given to my husband's by grandmother who passed away many years ago. A price tag can't be put on the glassses. I am afraid we will never see the glasses again.
I sent my vintage sunglasse, prepaid for it. When I recieved back (after a month or so) it was completely damage (they changed the frame with a very cheap looking part plus, they scratched the sunglasses as well.
The owners, August Cornell sent very rude emails to me once I stated my disatissfaction with they work. I asked for a refund, he said he will send me a check but its been about a month and I have not recieve my money even though I have sent him my information (address and amount to be refund) about three times.
I sent my Oakley Tripwire sunglasses to Framefixers in January, 2017. I received a phone call saying they got them and would repair them. I called a least two more times, in approximate two-month intervals. I was told one time that they were "almost done and would ship to me soon." After some time had passed, and I did not receive them, I called again and was told they had some issues with this brand of Oakleys.
I have heard no more, and it has been 15 months. What do they do, sell them to third-world countries? And how do you stay in business like this?!
