This company is the probably biggest fraud on the internet. I honestly cannot believe they are still in business. Apparently they buy used defective items at pennies on the dollar and resell them as new.
In June, 2013 I purchased a tablet for $94.99. When I finally received it, the 1st thing I noticed is that the box appeared old, and the bag containing the power cord had been cut open. When I charged the unit and turned it on I noticed a pink vertical line on the screen. I also noticed someone elses pictures and videos were on it. It was obvious that someone else had owned it and returned it, apparently for the same problem. I contacted Focal price about this many times before I finally got a response. Their answer was for me to get it fixed at my expense and if it wasnt too excessive they would reimburse me.
I rejected that idea and said I would like it exchanged for another. Again, after many many conversations, they finally provided me with an RMA number.
I packaged it up well and printed a USPS postage label with a tracking number and RMA number all over the package, and sent it back at a cost of $21.00. After checking my account for several months I did not notice any credit, so I contacted them about this. They then sent me a tracking number for someone elses order! After many many more attempts to resolve this, someone else said they had not received it back, and told me t wait a little longer.
Well, its been over a year and still nothing, so I guess i'm out $94.99, plus $21 for return shipping. I contacted the USPS, which were not much help, but assured me that more than likely the package was received. Pay Pal was also no help as they dropped my claim without any explanation. The bottom line here is i'm quite sure Focal Price received the item back, and probably resold it several times to many more unsuspecting suckers. Save yourself a mountain of stress and grief and stay as far away from these thieves as you can!
