After my intial call, over three weeks, customer service called twice to ask what I wanted done. Bad start. My repairs were questionable and, if possible, under warranty. I asked them three times to quote re-soleing the Vibram soles before they did the repair IF they were repairable.
Weeks later, I got a call saying my shoes were ready and the re-sole was $100 (a $40 job here in Denver). I would have never authorized the re-soleing at that price!!! I am a senior citizen, so money is tight and the $100 cost is outrageous and gouging.
I paid it but with protest to the agent as they scammed me and had my shoes!
By the time I got home from my trip and tried them out, Filson said they would not accept the discounted merchandise for return or exchange.
Filson discounts merchandise that gets less than favorable reviews because buyers find it unacceptable. The next buyer gets to keep it whether he finds it acceptable or not!
I ordered 3 clothing items on sale, all of which were garbage products. That is why they were on sale. Items were made to fit something other than humans. Zipper doesn’t work. Filson will not provide any measure of customer service. Open it, decide immediately, call them.
