I purcased a Camshaft Adjuster Repair Kit (A3 A4 TT Golf Jetta Passat, Late VIN); p/n-06F103107G with the logical assumption that this is a new part. However, what I received is a used one that had dark motor oil seeping out of the tight spaces, there are gouges and scoring on every flat machined mating surfaces for other bits to connect to, and there is an attached poly connector for a plug that really shows its age. It cost me $500 and I could've bought a new one from the dealer for $625...which I would've done if it weren't for seeing this "new" one for $500. I now see that no where on the site does it say "New" or "Used"...but they represent the parts as being new by not saying anything at all on the site. My dealer techs are likely laughing at me now because they told me I could get used ones cheap on ebay. I have contacted europaparts stating my displeasure with what I have received but have not been responded to yet. I will report anything europaparts does in regards to making this more favorable or fair. As for now, the part is getting installed, as I need the car badly, but I will never trust europaparts again or any online store, for that matter, that deals in auto parts if they do not confirm the parts are absolutely brand new.
