On Saturday, March 24, 2007 my husband and I went to Chrysler Jeep of Elk Grove. My husband had talked with Jason the day before and told him of our situation. We made it clear to Jason that we had some financial difficulties and we didn't want to waste our time or his. We also told him that we didn't want take a car home and have to bring it back.
Jason reassured us that they could make it happen for us. We decided on a car and worked a deal with the Sales Manager, Norman.After 6 hrs.we shook hands on a deal.
We were promised that they could get us 0% financing and they could also absorb our negative equity in a previous loan we had. We were thrilled!!! We drove the car home.
They cashed the down payment check and then 5 days later they called us back and said we need to either come up with $8,000.00 more to put down,find a co-signer or return the vehicle.Their whole attitude changed and they said they could do nothing for us if we couldn't come up with the money.They lied to us, they cheated us and they humiliated us!!!!!!!!! No one was accountable to the lies they told us. They didn't disclose any potential problems with our approval, they reassured us the deal was solid, dispite our efforts to ensure this didn't happen to us. They didn't care about their customers at all!!!!!!
