Electronic Express Reviews

  • Nov 28, 2019

On June 25, 2019 I purchased a 55" television from Electronic Express (EE) through Ebay. The item was shipped via Fedex who misdelivered and lost it. EE filed a claim with Fedex and was reimbursed for the package. I asked for a refund but was refused by EE who claimed it was delivered because Fedex listed it as delivered to the correct address on their tracking information. However, Fedex did not obtain a signature as there was a slash through the signature line.

I filed buyer's protection claims through Ebay and Paypal but they were denied based on the tracking information. I then filed a credit card dispute. EE contacted me by phone and requested that I drop the dispute in exchange for a refund (a type of refund scam). This is banned by the Ebay terms of service. Citicards advised me to do it so I authorized this. After it was dropped EE would not issue the refund.

I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. EE misrepresented the package as delivered to BBB. After presenting recordings of Fedex agents admitting the package was misdelivered and lost and emails of EE promising to issue the refund in exchange for dropping the credit card claim, EE then issued the refund. Had EE not issued the refund they would have been paid twice for the same item. EE is a dishonest business.

The session started with Faytaren Maricel Aguilar(Alhaja Nalfizat)in Facebook. I was planning to purchase an Iphone 7 and I searched in Internet. Somehow I found her contact and started enquiring about the product. Since, I don't know her, I got the valid proof like the company details(which was http://www.theelectronicexpress.com/) and some information about the company like the proof of registration and I personally went into the website to find whether they have a valid certificate to make payment and everything was fine. The phone number was verified. The woman whom I chatted with and the number published in the website confirmed the same information sharing.

Initially I paid 400$ for the product via MoneyGram which includes shipping to france and they promised me to do the delivery. Once, I made the transfer, immediately she first took the money and later she is telling you have to pay 300$ for some tax in shipping where I verified again with the CEO(even he is a fake) of the company and got some information like email proof from the shipping company and as they promised during the chat and in the email which they showed, I paid them 300$ again via MoneyGram extra(so it was 400+300=700$).

Now, again they are demanding for another 400$ saying that, the product is on hold in the Spain Customs and they can't release it unless I pay.

Its something like, the product worth is 400$ and I should pay 700$ for tax. I got frustrated and I told them, I need the proof of the mail sent from Spain customs, so that, I can verify with them regarding the situation. They gave me an invalid e-mail like " [email protected]", where it was not at all valid and I caught them. Now, I am asking for my money back as I knew, they are trying to scam, they are not ready to return back and abuse me in the chat and during talk. Before getting the money, under the name of Allah, they provide promises and speak very kindly but they have fake websites like http://www.theelectronicexpress.com/ and http://www.directhighlogs.com/ , so that, people can believe and pay them.

They say shipment is ready to go and they show you the tracking code as well(which is generated by their own fake site). Evrything is planned in a way that it will make you believe and go for it. I know I am fooled now but atleast lets make sure, they don't scam anyone in the future. To your note, I have the documents, my payments, the chat histories and the shipment tracking as a proof and I raised a cyber crime complaint. so, lets hope for the best. They even say these reviews are fake and I am fake. Please dont go for Faytaren Maricel Aguilar, Freddie Leslie Erickson(USA), Stephen Rasheed(Lagos, Nigeria). Let me be the last person. Don't make any dealings and suffer later. My wishes to everyone.

I bought my 2nd BLU phone at Electronic Express since the 1st BLU phone was stolen after 2 months.

Having the phone after 5 days google updated something and since then the phone is not working properly anymore. I was out of town and live 40 minutes away from this store that s why I didn t return it within a week.

I went to 2 different T Mobile stores, since that is my provider, and finally we reset it to factory standard. Still not good.

Tonight my fiancee and I went to Electronic Express where my fiancee had bought it for me, the sales rep tried to help but didn t make any difference. He told me had to wait for the manager who could make the decision if I could make an exchange. I said but that s only normal courtesy/customer service. That already seemed really strange because T Mobile and Best Buy told me if I had bought it there of course they would exchange it.

The Manager, Gregory Roban a punk from maybe 20 years old was a real creep and stuck up *, and probably had had a bad night but just didn t want to do it. So I said is this how you treat your customers, and used the word F* you. He freaked out since there was a 13 year old in the store and said "get the f* out of my store" because I had used that word and since there was a kid in the store! What?? You can say it and not me....

He said would call the Police if I didn t leave, well, ofmcourse I wanted him to call the Police as if they would come and as if I had done something wrong. The creep has my $129.00 for a phone that doesn t work!!

I went to the dad of the kid and apologized but said I am sure he heard this word before and the dad was laughing. I mean seriously, this word is used in movies and hear it daily in this Country. this Punk Gregory Roban and calls himself a Manager will loose customers if he treats them like this!! Don t buy your electronics at this store they have NO RETURN POLICY, the other sales people could not believe it!!!!

They should fire this PUNK and have a real manager with some character and friendliness.....

Will call the Corporate Office tomorrow because this is not acceptable!!!

Shame on you Electronic Express, especially the Manager Punk s*head Gregory Roban who must have something stuck in his behind..
