In December 2016 i responded to a advert on gumtree to buy a distributorship in a local area. It was a home based business selling Radal technology Ltd products. They sell specialised smoke detectors, which can detect a flame or smoke from 6 metres away and give off a audio warning. The products are branded as "Cig-Arrete detectors". Sales would be provided with selling to business and namely schools and hospitals. Prior sales and testimonials given from sales prior in my home state. Mr Adrian Campbell then proceeded to answer all my questions. It seemed to good to be true. They directed you to the parent companies made videos done in the UK. A national advertising campaign was in place, a telemarketing team, a network of distributors alreay in place. A robust IT system to support sales, full training in a warehouse, invoicing leads and the commission paid direct to the distributor, then to the supplier. No commission statements required! A successful business with unlimited leads. After payment of the fee is paid for a number of territories it would take two weeks to finalise and generate a return.
On 26 Jan 2016 i paid my final balance. It went on for say 2 weeks with all my early questions being answered in the positive. I was promised the agreement with them as the Master Australia wide distributor. This was never sent. In any event after 4 months of going up and down not one single lead, no telemarketers, no training. Nothing. All you were left with was a handful of deceit and deception. Even the testimonial they had in Victoria AUS they had no involvement in. The UK company appears to have done this directly. In fact after the payment was made communication completely dived. The partner Sam Newmhan then attempted to settle my obvious caution, and gave a multitude of excuses and let downs. It was all a effort to gain more and more time, with more excuses to try to make time to scam more victims. It meant time is money to them before it all came to a head. They use the bait as Gumtree mainly as far as i can see.
In the end after lie upon lie and disception i terminated the agreement. They refused to refund any monies. Continued to blame me for everything. They indicated i signed a contract. Even though it was riddled with fraud, deception and lies. They even continued to refuse a lesser amount given expenses they claim they incurred. Which is a lie as well. I paid over $10k. In the end i made contact via email with the parent Radal technology Ltd UK who confirmed they looked at these partners. But given character checks, and delays to conditions refused to sign a master agreement with them. The document they have is a forgery, and they have fraudently changed terms, and now have gone on to believe they can sell licence agreements to regions? They utilize all the parent companies branding, marketing, research, videos, sample contracts and memorandums. Numerous other distributors including myself are taking legal action. The MD in the UK business of Radal technology Ltd (Note: they are in no way involved in this deception- is subject to legal action to ratify all the claims). It is rightfullyly upset with the samples he sent to them being fraudently altered to make it seem like a legitimate business. It sells its specialised products world wide.
They Campbell/Newnham are thieves and have amended contracts and memorandum to include there own personal data. It turns out that Adrian Campbell (alias Steve Higgins) has a criminal record via Queensland consumer affairs for not delivering solar panels - Judgement from 9 months ago) Look up "Adrian Campbell" "Dark day for solar trader" for details. A class action is pending regarding this case. The ACCC has been advised plus Consumer Affairs in VIC and Queensland consumer affairs (per prior Solar scam). The scam has netted as far as i can see, via the MD in the UK's advices and the net average balance of say 5 X $15,000 = $75,000. 5 parties i now but likely to grow!
