Diversified Companies Reviews

Its hilarious how this company claims to have all of these employees who stay with them when the only people who have been with this company for so long is the owners who are family, a close friend of the family and one of the owners side girlfriend when he is married. So I do agree with the first report about the company. They hire people under false employment titles and then tell you that about the insurance part of the position once you sign an agreement for the 90 probationary period. The employees walk around the office using foul language which isn't professional at all and as far as the insurance class it's basically online at a computer that you read each chapter, so the rest questions and pass them to go into the next chapter. Without any instruction from any of the owners in the office. Once you complete the twelve chapters of the insurance course, the owners apply pressure for you to take the test. You do have the option of paying the cost of the class upfront or have them take it out of your check which you are paid twice a month. The claim to make the employees feel like you are a part of their family but treat you as if you are beneath them. It's a very harsh work environment in which favoritism is displayed towards the two or three who has been with them for a long time due to them being friends of their "FAMILY " prior to working there. The rules that they do have in place doesn't apply to the family only the new people who starts there. It's a lot of caddy immature behavior that is displayed there and if you do make a sale you only make thirty to forty dollars per sale. On the contrary to what they tell you when you start working there. They also claim that customers call in wanting insurance when they get their leads from a lead company to send in the phone calls through a computer generated system. You constantly calling the same people ten times a day of they didn't answer their phone. Some customers who have applied for employment on honey websites are being called through this same Next-gen lead site sending in their information to the employees to ask them if they want insurance when they weren't inquiring about insurance but employment. Which is very frustrating and misleading because of you are told that people will be calling in for insurance, then why is it that 90 percent of the people who's number is but into the system for the employees to speak to didn't inquire about any health or life insurance? Wouldn't you call that telemarketing or would you call that harassment? Majority of these clients ask to be put on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" These customers already have insurance, have been deceased for years, but the employees are being told to either call them or follow a script to ask them if they want some short term insurance. Which is a bunch of crap. The way that Diversified do business is unsavory and unethical. It's a revolving door and if a employee chooses to pay to go through them to get their insurance license and decided to leave and work with a different company, they are willing to threaten a person for wanting to leave because everything that they tell you in the beginning to get you to stay and work for them is a flat out lie. They go online to Careerbuilder seeking new employees for interviews, have them come in under the pretenses that they're being hired for a Customer Service Sales position when it's totally a different situation. They have you come in for an interview, have you sign an agreement, and then once you sign disclose to you that "Oh by the way you will need to obtain your insurance license " you can either pay upfront or they can take it out of your check until it's paid. I was told growing up that the truth shall set you free..... God doesn't like ugly, and he isn't to fond of pretty either. I hope and pray that all of the dirty practices that they are preaching will soon catch up to them. It's no wonder why people leave. One thing I've learned in life is what goes around comes right back around. Your time will come when everything around you will come tumbling down.
