I sent them a money order for $19.79 in August of 2017 and I sent them another money order in November of 2017 in the amount of $40.80 these money orders we're supposed to be for a 35 mm camera and tripod, As of today 12/12/2018 I have not received them I received a letter from DMI today asking me for another$19.79 For total payment and equipment, and for insured shipping and handling I have been trying for months to reach this company to no avail, when I got this letter today I kept it so that I would have the address and the phone number I looked them up online and it led me to this site that I am on now.
DMI has sent a Urgent Notification stating that there is a Nippon 35mm Focus Free camera with extra equipment waiting for me. All that is required is a a check or money order in the amount of 19.79, and the camera will be sent immediately to my address. The catch is that I never entered for a camera and if you send them money it will go in the supplied envelope in which you have to include the notification. Doing this will leave you with no proof that you are to receive anything from DMI. They will not send anything to you!
Well anyway after researing I found where this scam is taking place. I had the feeling this was to good to be true they want me to send them $17.79 plus $3.00 for shipping. I am not going to do this especially after seeing someone else was scamed. My research determines this to be a scam. I am just informing you of this I have the mailing here at home and am not following through with by sending nothing to these people. I am sorry to see other people are falling for this. This is for information to who ever is investigating these people.
I sent them $16.76 for S&H of a 35mm camera that they were supposed to send me. Never received the camera. Please check into this company and put them out of commission!
Today I received a notice in the mail stating that DMI Central Clearing House TX has a insured package for me. I do a lot of online shopping but I never ordered any cameras. So anyways I wanted to look up and see what this camera looked like and that's when I found out that there were other people having this same thing happen to them. Except I never sent them any money.
