I just received a call on my cell from (202) 154-6668, 11:38am on Monday, November 14, 2017 to be exact. The caller had a heavy accent, likely Indian or Pakistani, and proceeded to inform me that he was calling from the U.S. Treasury Department and that my name had bee selected to be awarded a grant in the amount of $9000. I asked him to repeat where he was calling from, and I repeated it just so I was clear. Then I chuckled and he stopped speaking and asked me did I just laugh, to which I replied that I had and he got all huffy and disconnected the call. When I did a google search, this site came up and I'm just surprised that I hadn't found it sooner. I've also gotten a few calls from the U.S. Federal Grants Department that I probably don't need to report as I've already seen it on here.
I received a call from Nick Gates from an unknown number. He told me that the US Treasury was given me a grant. The grant number is NK592. He then gave me a number to someone in Seattle WA 206-946-8175. Spoke to Steven. The grant was for $9200. I had to get a prepaid card and put $200 on it and I would be reimbursed the $200. I was instructed to call him back when I got to a money gram place then he would give me the tracking number. This is a scam so be ware.
A lady called me and said I have been chosen to receive a grant to call this number. I called and franky Casper told me if I want the grant of 9200 I need to go to a CVs pharmacy and send them 350 dollars as a security deposit and they will send me the money directly to my account I did not do it . I looked it up on the internet it is a scam , then I reported it.
