I purchased a vehicle on 5 November from Deals on Wheels. That night i took it over to my friend's house to "show off my new truck" When we noticed a kocking sound coming from the truck. My friend who is an ASE certified mechanic stated he thought it was the rod since it was lower engine noise... but he did not have a stethascop so i brought it up to Mr. Babak Assadi on 6 november.

He tried to assure me that everything was fine and it was a "perfect truck" however the sound was not getting any better so on my first day off (9 November) the mechanic did an inspection of the truck and confirmed that it is lower end noise. Without pulling the engine apart he stated that it was indeed either the crank or the rods... either way the engine was on it's last leg. I messaged Mr. Babak Assadi on 9 November at 12:14 in the afternoon letting him know I had taken it to a mechanic and that it was not "piston slap" as he tried to play it off as but there was metal in the freshly changed oil already so it was indeed a major defect in the automobile.

He did not respond until after I filed a complaint with the DMV against his license, the BBB and started posted warnings to other people who could be taken in by him.

I had also sent a copy of the complaints and all messages between us both to the bank he works with generally and they were shocked and appaled that he has done nothing to fix this as it is a big deal. and have marked him as a fraud and will no longer let their clients fill loans to him.

Nevada it is required that dealers provide an accurate engine and drive train inspection and to disclose any possible major defects before purchase. Mr. Babak Assadi did no such thing. While perhaps I should have been more vigulant I beleived that a licenesed dealer would be legit. I am a disabled vet on a tight income and this happened to fit into my budget. The truck is currently running however I dont know how long it will last. the knocking keeps getting worse.
