I already knew they were way overpriced, but if they were so great, and you got great results, it would be worth it. Every scam needs its artist, SSM has David Varrone (www.DavidVarrone.com or www.MindsetMerchants.com). During his call, Varrone promises to guide you through his proven success system which will have you earning thousands in the next 10 days, maybe even this week.
When it turned out I didn't have the $3,500-20,000 for his system, Varrone offered me a special deal. He gave me the $3,500 package for FREE! Of course, none of these packages have much real world value. They are just a bunch of digitally downloaded books and programs which keep this scam from being a pure pyramid which is illegal. Since the only people who ever purchase the license to sell the products are only those in hopes of selling them to other people like themselves, home based business opportunity seekers, then it still seems like a pyramid scam.
Varrone gave me the package because, because part of the system requires you to buy broadcast leads to have his same automated call of his go out to others. To help out his Team Dynasty, which he allegedles is from 1,600-1,700 people, Varrone operates a lead co-op to help the team find and reach there potential victims. Varrone claims the co-op is not-for-profit based yet these type of leads, namelss numbers “scrubbed” from various internet databases, typically run only a couple hundred dollars. Broadcastng is but a penny or two a minute. Yet Varrone packages these as his 'white gloved' service for $1,199. Pretty profitable for a non-profit operation. You can definitely see how he's making six figures each month as he claims.
According to Varrone because his 'white glove' leads are so far above anything else you can get, in the beginning you will get 1-2 sales and eventually 3+ sales once you become more seasoned like him. Well over $4,000 and 4 months later I should have had 4-8 sales or more. When I had none, I went to Varrone to collect on his guarantee and get a refund. Please understand that like every scram artist, Varrone is smooth and very likable. You want to believe him. So when he claimed he was willing to refund me but offered to instead give me free leads and broadcasting PLUS make every call until I had 2-3 sales (actually it was 4 o more according to his stats) I should have had by now. As your first sale is a qualifying sale and goes back to the person who sold you, this represented $14,000-75,000 if he delivered. He just couldn't.
After a month and a half, Varrone was only able to get a single sale who had not yet gotten his first sale. He claimed to have another sale coming later that week. Even with only 1 of the 2-3 promised sales delivered, because he'd been “carrying me” the couple months, Varrone demanded that I take of the first leads for his gift sale our of the commission.
