I was hired to work as a recruiter for a Michael Dawson which is a fake name. Worked for a week recruiting people to sign up for freelancer academy and then work for the company. Never got paid. They were never hired and told classes were cancelled but billed for nothing. Skip traced this person and found out the phone belongs to a Kenneth Jackson with several liens, judgements etcetera who is deceased! This person is obviously a miserable low-life on the outskirts of society.
I applied to a Web Design job post on Craigslist and received a phone call from an individual by the name of Jeannine who was representing www.cybernetdevelopment.com. She hired me immediately during our first phone call and said I would need to obtain a website design certificate through www.thefreelanceracademy.com and all I had to pay is 15% of the tuition which was $71.25. She said the project manager Michael would call me with more information. The project manager Michael called me and asked me to pay for an online training course so that I can have the proper training before I start my job. I paid the $71.25 to attend this bogus online academy called www.thefreelanceracademy.com. The next day I started to do some research online and couldn't find anything about Cybernet Development. I have to come find out that this person is running this scam under many different names online and they have you watch free videos on YouTube and then take a test, afterwards you receive a homemade certificate.
