We tried to get a loan to purchase a dump truck from a private party. The company decided they would do a lease for this vehicle. They verbally informed us that there would be a first and last months payment needed and then proceeded to take the money from our checking account before ever showing us terms in writing. On two separate occasions we were told that they hadn't figured the terms correctly and they removed more money.

They made us sign all documents, including a delivery and acceptance agreement in advance. I protested about signing a statement that I had received something I hadn't but they assured us that it was standard procedure. Late into the process we starting learning that when the lease ended it was going cost at least $817 to buy out of the lease but none of this in writing and made us nervous.

After discovering the truck we were trying to get had major repair issues, we decided that we were not going to purchase equipment at this time. Currency tried to tell us us that 1st, we signed the contract so tough. 2nd we had been pre-approved for $12000 and we would just need to find something else to buy so that they can lend us the money for it. They even told us that the private party would have to find us another vehicle to purchase. They will not reimburse the almost $2000 they have taken from us. They finally admitted there was a request form that we could submit but when we did that they said we were denied. We have no idea how to get our money back from these criminals.

George Morales, along with several others from Currency Capital continue to contact my business soliciting equipment financing. They have all been advised several times that we are not interested and to stop calling and emailing us, but the repeated pleas to have the emails and phone calls cease are just simply ignored. I had a conversation with George, who is a supervisor with Currency, after the harassing emails and phone calls wouldn’t stop and asked him what it would take for them to respect our requests to be left alone. All he offered was to again have our company removed from the list, which of course has been promised in the past but apparently has no affect. Even George the supervisor can’t or won’t get the solicitation assault to stop!

Currency Capital, in my opinion, is a leach lending company that has very low hiring standards and high interest rates - upwards in the 18% range, so there is no chance that my company would ever do business with them. But that won’t stop them from being a complete nuisance begging for any scraps that you might have to toss at them from under the table. There are far more reputable companies out there to do business with, so I strongly recommend working with someone else other than Currency Capital, unless you prefer being treated like a high healed tramp who has no recourse against them other than online ranting attempts to stop the abuse.

Applied to Currency to finance business equipment. Talked to someby called Nick Noriega who confirmed that the comapny is a direct lender and we always the money is coming from them. Later on we discovered that this company is nothing than a broker who is after collecting funds uprfront in term of initial payment/fee/deposit. They provide the term sheet right after your application telling you it's approved. Then they keep you waiting for a month until you find your self dealing with another entity that will provide you the fund. The new funding company is a part of the game that those leasing or capital or funding companies call themselves. The new potential funding company will start calling you asking the same question, for the same documents, several time by several people. At the end they will tell you, OH we need a collateral. Be aware that all these acts are just to suck you bank account with funds that you never authorized, BEFORE getting you approved or funded. When you apply at any shady leasing or financing company, always be sure on what you sign, have them confirm every thing by email, and never pay a penny untill you see a penny from them. They creat any execuse or reason to go after your deposit or account. The mistake we did, is that we shouldn't be dealing with these shady companies, we had excellent credit history so the bank approved our deal in 3 hours and got the fund the next day. Be aware also that some businesses started to hire people, may be sitting in other country, to write good fake reviews about them.
