My experience at Cummins in Amarillo, Texas. ZERO STARS!!! $938.00 labor charge for diagnostics, 1 injector and a reseal on the oil pan for my Cummins N14 engine for my Kenworth W900. I complained and they gave me $117 back. I was given a written estimate but I failed to ask them to go over each itemized fee. If I had done that, I would have left and went elsewhere. I understand, they are huge and have massive overhead costs. Their shops are always clean and their work is done right the first time. Matthew is the shop supervisor and he seems like a great guy but his hands are tied, he has to abide by corporate polices. The final invoice was $80 less than the estimate but in my opinion, I was extremely nickle and dimed by their itemized labor fees. In the future, I will continue to use my own skilled mechanics that I know and trust. In this circumstance, I needed my engine repaired while I was on the road because I didn't want to cause further damage to my other injectors by continued driving.
