First off, if you guys want to become a trucker make sure you get all the correct info because the recruiter I had didn't explain to me that I'd be paying 450 a week for a musty a*s smelling room,especially to be shared with 3 other people but I didn't mind having roommates but the smell, I'd bet 2,000 that musty a*s smell won't leave for 5 dam years, plus they wanted to charge me 450 a week to live in that room? Insane!! My recruiter didn't explain to me that I would have to pay the bus ticket back, because if I decided to not go through with it or failed as I'm reading from others I'm on my own to find my own way home, bullshit! Also that schooling terminal was filled with a bunch of thug a*s people, possible from Chicago.I mean it's cool that they are trying to do something with their lives but I don't want my belongings taken, I work hard for my belongings.90% of the students at that school were from Chicago, no thank you! Also, they had 4 bathroo,s with showers, 3 out of 4 of them were broken, so I would have to go to an upper level to shower, are you kidding me?! They also want you to do your own training, htf am I supposed to do my own training if I know nothing about the trucking industry? Plus I'm paying that school to train me, if I wanted to learn on my own I wouldn't be attending a school for it.I drove all the way from Philipsburg PA and wasn't even compisated for it.I drove all the way there for no reason.The police offier that pulled me over let me go with a warning, that was the only highligt on that trip Ben Franklin, Cedar rapids pd he was a very nice professional police officer. I read a comment on here where they left a guy stranded and this guy has an effing daughter! That only tells me they don't give a sh*t about you, only your money, total bullsh*t.I'm back in pa and is in a beautiful hotel room provided by Stevens Transport, the room isn't musty smelling like that crst room.I'm attending Steven's trasnport which is a great company to work for. Well. I can tell you from experience that CRST, Cedar Rapids Steel Transport, the van expedited company is a waste of time. This company has tried to have 2 contracts with me. i do have the original contract and when the reviewer signed her name I did tell her she made a mistake on this. She did put the wrong date. Also this company sent me a final notice before sent to collections. I did call the company and they never returned a phone call to me to work this out.
I never had an accident they claim $ 225.00. I know they was one advance. but the amount was not $ 395.00.
This was sent to a collections agency and not sure on what to do.
Well I was with company for 1 year an half, company always kept me in debt. ran cross country for company stayed loyal an still got nothing in return started their lease purchase program. first off truck was always in shop an u would think they would compensate you for there truck always being down but no, they will put u down even further by keep billing you. I had truck for 6months an truck was in shop every month I had it so if u want to lose everything go to crst. really company should be shut down, nothing but lying people in office who doesn't have any family values, also feel there a very racist company slave driver! Stay away.
CRST trucking is a rip off. They told me that I did not have to pay for, my bus ticket and, they said that I did not have to pay for my Lodge either, well get down here and, they put everyone in a classroom and, the first thing they make you do is to sign a piece of paper, saying that you have to repay your business ticket back and, the lodge is 160.00 dollars a week you have to pay that back as well as the food which us not good. Hot dogs chips, taco salad, pork sandwiches which is nasty. They do not train you good enough so I advice you to study the permit three weeks before you get out here and study the pre trip test as well. They give you all kinds if quizes and if you don't pass by the third time you are going home. The lodge where you live is always cold the bathrooms are cold I was sick twice because I couldn't warm myself up. Dustin if you ever do come out here watch Dustin he just became manager at NADTA the place where they will train you at, he is very high strung and will not give.you a chance. Watch out for Phill as well he is an a**hole. My thoughts alone on this place if you like to be sick, cold and, lied to then go.to.CRST

I'm a father of 2 small children, Owner of a small family/veteran owned business. This company owes us over 40,000 dollars and I will plaster it over the entire internet so that all will know that CRST is a crooked company!
My company was contracted by CRST to perform Ikea deliveries. It was a joke from the start. It took FOUR MONTHS to get a commission statement from them. We literally had no idea what they were paying us for. FOUR MONTHS after we started we finally received a statement, to find out they charged us TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars for claims starting on the very FIRST DAY we started!!! Are you serious!? Here is the kicker, The contract states we are only held liable for the WHOLE SALE VALUE of the items, yet we were charged Full value. I had to drive from Cincinnati to Fort Wayne to try to get it fixed, even after this we still never were compensated for the overages.
Our agreement was a net 7 pay period, at one point they owed us 100,000 dollars. The accounting department is a joke and they do not know their own contract.
We performed 9650 deliveries in a matter of 6 months. CRST is such a joke that they said that they overbilled or underpaid us on 6315 orders. What kind of joke is this really? 6315 orders out of 9650 wrong? To make matters worse, after we completed our terms with CRST, (we even gave them an additional 30 days) they did not pay us for our last week, compensate us for the claims, or pay for our last month of rent as they promised.
Instead they said "sorry we don't owe you any money", we overpaid you. The funny thing is about their HORRIBLE OPERATING SYSTEM is the only way to check is to go into every single order to see the compensation. Not only did they not pay us but they will not allow us to get into the system to counter anything they say.
They owe us well over 40,000 and ironically enough, we owe them almost the exact same amount because THEY overpaid us. Mind you we did not invoice them, we simply sent in the delivery receipt, and we had no idea what we were paid for, for 4 months. Even once we did get a statement 4 MONTHS LATER, IT WAS ALL WRONG!
They purposely make it confusing, and when you send in your complaint, it takes weeks for a response, and then they play stupid and act like they don't understand what you are complaining about and it takes several weeks again.
They are so cheap they only have one printer for over 50 people in one office, so when you send in paperwork it gets lost in the shuffle and you have to continuosly send in the same invoices. At this point I'm not sure if that's even the case, I'm beginning if they just try to get away with not paying you on certain orders. They make it so confusing that you literally have to pay a person to invoice and collect from them.
They did the exact same thing to the company that worked with them before us!
