On January 7, 2018 we rented the venue at New Southern Hotel through the Crock Construction Company. The supplies that were supposed to be secured under their security system as all renters had unique codes to access the venue. They had promised no one would steal or take the merchandise because the place was secure. I was surprised that a staff member steals the some of the merchandise (a large box of crystal glassware) after she promised by text message on 3/3/18 at 1:11 pm to return them. When my Ministers went to the venue to pick them up, Ms. Cherry only returned half of my merchandise which was the plate chargers.
She kept the crystal glassware that she thought was so beautiful. I have reached out to Ms. Cherry several times to ask that she return my merchandise. She stated that she would and she didn't want me to call her again. I then reached out to Hal Crocker of Crocker Construction who manages the venue to file a complaint against his company. His kind staff members have said that he is getting the messages but refused to call or make a good faith attempt to clear up this matter. The Better Business Bureau suggested that I contact the local police department and file a theft charge against the company. I had heard that my incident is not an isolated one as this has happened to others who have rental space at the New Southern Hotel. I want to warn others that these people are running a scam and no one should do business with them.
